I had an affair with a man a year ago. He kept records of our conversations. So he has proof of the affair. He wants to tell my husband and daughter. It's my own wrongdoing... But I am being constantly harassed. Should I call the police? And one more thing he's not in the USA but a small island called Taiwan. Will they extradite him, or can the taiwan officials arrest him? PLEASE HELP ME

We own our house outright and are living in it. Next door to us there are a couple who have rented the house from their landlord. They asked their landlord for a new fenceline between our houses. The fenceline is neither damaged or old and the landlord wishes to go ahead with it. They sent us all the details except the problem is they want to demolish high shrubbery and cut off a piece of land which belongs to us. We told them that area is part of our land but they are not listening and on top of that they wish to make us pay for half the fenceline even though we aren't in need of one.
What should be done and do we need to pay for the fenceline even if we don't need it???

I think writers are being shortchanged here and I`ve thought so for a long time.

Every time a writer squawks that he or she is being ripped off, you are told by somebody in an overpaid job that you can`t copyright `ideas`?

Well, funny that. Because every overpaid designer or aerospace scientist is able to copyright patents and/or designs.

How about bringing the hacks into the 21st century?????????????

when documents have proven they were ready to attack Arabs who didnt supply oil to em during the 71 oil crisis
when they had nukes close to moscow but jumped up and down when the soviets installed nukes in cuba
when they fight a war for "freedom" in iraq while NK and china are the most ruthless dictatorships
when they let india have nuke reactors and fuel violating the NPT so they can use india as a hedge against china and at the same time influence it to vote against iran in UNSC
while they try to stop iranian nuke program just based on a morons (ahemdinajad) comment who doesnt have any real powers
when they act to care about jews but never really fought to save em until the japs nearly paralysed them in pearl harbour.
when they fight for freedom and "democracy" while innocent civilians are forced to live and being tortured in abu grahib and Guantanamo
when democracy was the ideology of peace but was tried to be imposed on vietnam through violence

1).under the duty of care there is this case of donoghue v stevenson. the thing is I dont understand how negligence comes in that case, considering the fact that it is not clearly stated if mr. stevenson intentionally put the snail in the ginger beer. and i dont see how he could have reasonably foreseen the harm of the beer if he was not aware of the presence of a rotten snail in the beer he made.
2).what is calcus of negligence an how is it related or different from breach of duty, in relation to the coase theorem?

Shouldn`t all crimes be viewed as such? For when you are intentionally hurting a person in anyway hate has got to be rooted deep down inside the criminal. I just think all horrific crimes should be dealt with the same and prison sentences or death penalties should all be handed out equally. For all victims are equal in thier pain suffering and healing no matter what race, religion, gay or straight. Hate is hate and a crime against another person is still a crime. So why is it a harsher punishment if it`s viewed a hate crime? It`s time people started taking a stand and get everyone to understand hate is hate and crime is crime make stiffer penalties for all .

Hypothetically, if someone does 10 years for a crime he didn't commit. And they discover that it wasn't him and release him, can he commit a crime and if caught use some of those10 years as time served so he doesn't have to do any time for that crime?

I got a parking ticket and didn't pay it right away. For every day, after 10 days....they add a dollar per day to the fine!

My ticket started out as ten bucks...and now they say that I owe them 60!

Isn't their a cap or regulations about such things in the state laws? It is in Kentucky? How can I check this?

I havent payed some speeding tickets back in Hawaii where I used to live. Now I live in another state. I havent payed them for a LONG time.
I got pulled over today, no big deal and the cop was cool, but he said that my license might get suspended because of the tickets I didnt pay in Hawaii.
I have almost no money because im a college student.
Should I even call my DMV in Hawaii and see if I can work out some payment plan because I still have a Hawaii drivers licesnse and I dont want it to be suspended? Or are they going to just screw me over like put me in jail or go to court or something?
Im screwed eaither way but help me out.

Next he will admit to painting "Whistlers Mother"! He wants some type of assylum for cohorts and he will receive fame and be a "martyr" He says he is responcible for all 911 plans and all 4 plane crashs and plan of a second terror wave nameing NY Empire St. bldg and San Diego and other places! Oh yeah even the "Shoe Bomber" I mean the list of his feats is 2 miles long! Read it theres a link on Cnn page to the hearing where they are going to decide if he can be charged with being a "enemy combatant"and if so then brought befor another tribunal perhaps. I think it's BS to get many others off and to satisfy USA by the Government giving us the "culprit", he says "understand I do not do this alone" duh! What do you think?
