US laws are too lenient in my opnion. If someone is convicted of murder then they should be killed. Rapist should be allowed to be raped by other prison inmates. We should look at other countries that have these types of laws and learn a thing or two from them. No wonder the US has so much crime. Criminals are laughing at teh law system. Example : This one guy fled that got pulled over in Georgia or some midwest state had a gun and shot the officer in the chest. He got 20 years for attempted murder.. 20 years !!??? is that a joke?? When will we wake up and realize that evil will always win cus we are too soft on criminals. Believe me, the crime rate will surely drop if it is known that if you rob a store you will be stoned to near death. But I guess evil will always win with the way society is set up. How sad

Okay, Mickey Mouse is copyrighted by Disney, so I can buy a mickey mouse toy and sell the same mickey mouse toy, but like other disney products I cannot reproduce it and sell it correct? now if I were to make a Mickey Mouse toy/sculpture myself, would I be able to sell it? and if I weren't gonna be able to sell it would I be able to give it away? because from what I understand, as long as you don't get any monitary gain, you can do whatever you want with it, correct? Okay, but are exchanges illegal? please tell me thanks,

...keeping in mind this:
- Christians, you are taught to believe that only God can judge. Who are you/we to decide whether somebody may live?

- Most of the people who are sentenced to death deserve it -- I'll admit that. But what I'm uncomfortable with is giving the government the power to take life.

Pro-capital punishment people, how do you respond?

In other words, under Virginia law, if I create a company that uses the same trademark as another company from another state, and I register my corporation in Virginia, if the other company comes to Virginia, could I seek an injunction to stop them from using the copyright? Also, are there any cases in Virginia that are similar to this?

We (my bf and I) added on a lease as roommates to two other people (couple) that lived in the apartment before. they planned on moving out soon. Two months after their moveout, we received a letter from the leasing office about a waterbill that we owed. It dated back from when the couple moved into the apartment. They lived at the apartment for 6 months and we lived for 2 months (after which the bill came). The bill was for 8 months on which we planned to pay 2 months. but since our name was on the lease, we had to pay off the entire bill or it would mess up our credit. So called the couple and told them about the bill and they said they would pay me back for the 6 months they owed. So we paid the bill off since they were moved out already and they would mail us the check. Well we have been trying to contact them but they will not reply to emails or phone calls or voice messages and sometimes hang up the phone. Its $205 that they owe us and we are college students working time. more..

The scenario is a United States citizen has dual citizenship with a country in which the legal age of sexual consent is much lower than that of the US, and this citizen has a relationship with a person younger than is legally permissible in the United States. So even though it would be permissible for this person if they were a citizen of only that country, what would happen to them as they have dual-citizenship? Seeing as the US is incredibly paranoid about its citizens have sexual relations with anybody under the age of 18 while in other countries.
