Public Information Disclosure is a new area of sharing information practiced by major financial institutions and companies where vital information is shared with the public, the NGOs, the stakeholders etc on a manadatory basis. The concept is that the public has a right to know some of these information concerning an institution, to study and to arrive at an opinion on whether the institution is in the right track or not. If it is not, to express their opinion, which, the institution may take into consideration for rectification, clarification, if any in future.

There are examples, in some cases, (such as in environmental projects) where the institutions have either modified or abandoned projects because of formulated public opinion as a result of such voluntary information disclosure.

that some people feel we should learn to accept. I'm not talking religion or homosexuality I'm talking do some people think crime is a natural part of life and the law should learn to accept that robbery etc is our way of life that we choose so stop fighting us? Does that make sense?

I can't think of any realistic reasons why - when prescribed by a legitimate doctor - our government would not allow medicinal marijuana for sick and dying patients. We allow certain Indian tribes to use a PCP derivitave in their religious ceremonies - but our sick and dying can't use an herb that would eliminate or ease their pain in their final weeks and months?

I just turned 24 and I work hard and long for my credit score to get it to a 791. At anytime someone can steal my I.D and then I'm left making tunnel phone calls through the state system to get my identity back. Is this a class issue where only those who can afford a lawyer gets their life back? Should Americans be more worried about it?

Death penalty supporters - since you believe the courts should kill people who kill, shouldn't the justice system also rape people who commit rape?

As compared to corruption

I'm in the middle of a divorce. We have 2 children under the age of 6.

My husband was arrested on DV charges -- mainly false imprisonment when he wouldn't let me leave during an arguement that got physical. However, he was the one who got injured (not me) when I hit him so that he would let me go.

I received an EPRO which was extended by a family court judge. My husband received visitation rights which allowed for "peaceful contact" between him and me.

Things seemed to be going very smoothly and becoming very civil between us, so when he violated the restraining order by text messaging me, I let it slide and eventually responded back to him. That led to some phone calls and us talking face-to-face when I dropped our kids off at his place.

I allowed him to come over the other night to see his kids and things went so well that I considered dropping the restraining order.

I wrote a very long and what I hope to be articulate letter to Hillary today about this subject in response to a mass email on the subject. I think this administration has been slowly eroding the rule of law. Replacing competent and successful US attorneys with partisan automatons is a power grab.
Especially when they are encourage to "find"reasons to single out democrats. That is a tactic use din Russia or China. That is not what the rule of law is about, everyone is equal before the law no exceptions.
This I realize does not happen all the time, but any deliberate action to undermine this idea should be dealt with quickly. I think the concept of the rule of law is the most important facet to a representative democracy. Without it we just have tyranny with a fancy name, and tyrants who are elected. Saddam was elected so is hugo chavez.

Although it's been four years, I filed, in pro per, and served my former employer who is an insurance company. They insisted that the contract was to be "binding" and both parties to act in "good faith and fair dealing" so a final Release could be ascended to (which was, but breached hard by defendant insurance company. There was no denigration clause.

In California there is a one year statute for insurance bad faith, when an insurance company does not comply with the insuring agreement. In this case, it wasn't an insuring agreement, it was a termination agreement, whereby they were to continue to provide benefits in consideration of my immediate termination. I terminated, but they terminated my benefits. I lost everything. (it was a side agreement to a class action), class counsel and defendant insurance company all failed to disclose this to the Court (violation of FRCP 23(e)(2). Can I still pursue bad faith, though it's been four years with this expressed provision??

If liberals are destroying America, but abortion is murder, which evil would you rather have on your conscience?

2007-03-14 17:08:32 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous

I always a hear a certain group of people on here saying, "Our country was founded by Christian morals, and the liberals are trying every chance they get to take God out of our government."

Since our founding fathers are no longer here, I will quote them for you:

Thomas Jefferson: "I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."

James Madison: "Strongly guarded . . . is the separation between religion and government in the Constitution of the United States," "practical distinction between Religion and Civil Government is essential to the purity of both, and as guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States"

Why then do people constantly insist that our forefather's wanted the church to have a strong influence in matters of the state???
