There's nothing worse than someone whose crooked working above the law, and when someone like this eventually gets nailed, they are usually the number one priority for inmates who are in prison, especially those wrongfully accused for crimes committed by corrupt peace officers!

My neighbor works for IAD and he says that life gets pretty bad cause once the smell is on the cop on the take, its only a matter of time they catch them. He works for a major Police Department and they average about 10-15 cases a month. Not bad when you look at about 18,000 cops in that city.

But like he says, one is too many and they are good at finding out who, and putting the case together. They have about 95% conviction rate if it goes to the Grand Jury for True Bill, but most officers resign and cope for a lessor charge.
