I have no problem with a woman President, as long as it is not Hillary. I would vote for Condi though.

I just concentrate on having a woman. Then, if she turns out to be president, that's fine. lol

Seriously, will other nations think we are weaker? If we choose Hilary, then yes. She has zero accomplishments so we would be choosing her for the wrong reasons and most nations would notice that, yes.

I have no problem with having a woman president.....

But I am betting we are YEARS away from that being a reality in the US....

We give a lot of lipservice to it in this country but, people dont really believe it yet.......

People will talk a good game, but once they get into that voting booth and no one can see what they are doing, they will not do it....

Truth is, an African-American will be elected before a woman.....

Miles to go folks....

I can't see how having a woman president could make us seem weaker. It might make us seem more calm and level headed and that's not a weakness. I think choosing a president needs to be based on ability, not on sex or color of skin.

No, I don't think other nations will think we're weaker.
Just ask Argentina if they think Margaret Thatcher was weak.

Right now, I don't think that :
a) We're ready for it because.......
b) We don't have a woman candidate capable of leading us
(my apologies to Hillary fans) because of her past issues,
including health-care reform, see-sawing on Iraq,
not to mention Bill's past conduct will come back to haunt her.

I would vote for a woman if I believed in her ability to lead
our country and not even think twice about it.

Thatcher didn't hesitate to take on the Argentinians over the Falklands war . And done better than bush in Iraq. Its maybe the best thing that could happen to America.

No - there is no difference between the sexes as far as capability is concerned. There have been women presidents and prime ministers for centuries. They have all done a good job.
