I never thought about that but I'll say yes since you asked. Taxpayers really get the shaft. Everyone has rights but only the one's w/ a conscience pay taxes.

No. There are many elderly people living on incomes too small to make them taxable who have invested a great deal in their country over the years and who have more common sense than many young voters when it comes to casting their vote. Likewise there are many people living on benefit who perhaps have more time on their hands to think things through and to take a hard look at what is happening around them than those who are fortunate enough to be in employment. Their voice too deserves to be heard.

To limit suffrage to taxpayers would be to regress a couple of centuries.

No. That is ridiculous.

What about people on disabilty. They can't help their poor physical state?
Are you saying they mean nothing in this society?

What about the eldery, the ones that carry wisdom and experience?
Are you saying they mean nothing to this society?

Everyone in this country should have a right to vote. That is called Equality!

Yes, absolutely. I'd add an exemption for the elderly who actually had a job before they retired and those too disabled to work.
