I got a parking ticket and didn't pay it right away. For every day, after 10 days....they add a dollar per day to the fine!

My ticket started out as ten bucks...and now they say that I owe them 60!

Isn't their a cap or regulations about such things in the state laws? It is in Kentucky? How can I check this?

I would pay it first and ask questions later, or they are going to end up with a whole new fleet of cars and you won't be able to afford to put gas in yours. Most tickets explain all of that on the back, honey- how to dispute, when to pay, what the late fee will be. You should have read it. If they notify you in advance, by writing it on the ticket, you'll have a very hard time getting out of it if you can at all..
