Should I even contact my DMV and see if I can pay them because I got pulled over today, the cop was cool, but he said that my license might get suspended

A friend of mine had that happen when he moved from California to Texas. Eventually he got pulled over in Texas and his warrants for the unpaid California tickets showed up when the cops called in his registration. He wound up being sent back to California to serve three months for the unpaid tickets.

The tickets will turn into warrants for unpaid fines. Chances are that the warrants will only be for a local pickup, which means if you were to go back to Hawaii and happened to have a run in with the law, they could take you to jail on them. You will have to pay a bond (usually the amount of the ticket ). However since its not that big of an offense, you should be alright as far as not getting arrested if you live in another state. On the down side, it is on your record, so if you ever have your history ran for any reason, they will pop up.

some issues will happen, a bench warrant for no longer exhibiting as much as courtroom suitable pay your nice, then in case you get stopped you ought to circulate to reformatory. specifically this is going to keep away from you from getting a license in the different state till you have cleared up (PAID THE FINES) any amazing tickets. those won't only go away. Be to blame and look after them. additionally, no state will only write them off after some years.

Sooner or later you'll get a call from someone dealing with government funding, and youll get yelled at. I would just go ahead and pay them just to avoid any problums you might have.

You'll get a warrant. Nothing will happen until the next time you get pulled over. Then they will arrest you.

99% chance nothing

1% chance it will come up somewhere. IF it does, usually you can be held for up to 10 days. If the entity with the warrant does not want to come and get you then your set free. Usually no one wants to mess with it though, especially if it's in hawaii.

If you have the same vehicle and try to re-register it, you will have to pay ALL the tickets before you can update your registration. Sorry, there's no escape.
