I havent payed some speeding tickets back in Hawaii where I used to live. Now I live in another state. I havent payed them for a LONG time.
I got pulled over today, no big deal and the cop was cool, but he said that my license might get suspended because of the tickets I didnt pay in Hawaii.
I have almost no money because im a college student.
Should I even call my DMV in Hawaii and see if I can work out some payment plan because I still have a Hawaii drivers licesnse and I dont want it to be suspended? Or are they going to just screw me over like put me in jail or go to court or something?
Im screwed eaither way but help me out.

Absolutely you should. It's part of being a good citizen taking ownership of any infraction.

Is the reason the incorrect handle on the fee ticket is for the reason which you at the instant moved and did no longer replace your handle yet? if so, then particular, pay the fee ticket. you would be able to finally end up with an excellent extra effective nice in case you have no longer as much as date innovations on the DMV in the time alotted. If this isn't any longer the reason, then you certainly likely have grounds to contest the fee ticket.

They aren't screwing you over- you did. You need to take responsibility for your own behavior and not blame others for it. Yes, you should pay it as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the worse the consequences will be. You may have to get a loan, since they probably won't take payments on it. Sorry.

just because you live in a diffrent state dosnt mean that nothinks going to happen to you. eya maybe not know. but think in a few eyars time when your looking for a job or need a loan, and these a holes have black listed (which means your bad at paying money back so no one will give you money or put you in a responsable role with money) you for not paying them. it gives you all kinds of problems later.
