Perfectly legal...no raises are guaranteed...have him ask the boss for one..in life you don't get what you deserve..you get what you negotiate....if it is a union thing...ask his rep

It is totally legal as long as he is above the minumum wage, it is an employer's discretion to give a payrise based on performance etc.

It's perfectly legal just as long as he is paid the minimum wage. Since the minimum wage increases year on year, it may be worth checking his current hourly rate. Otherwise, it's up to the company to pay whatever it deems appropriate.

As long as he is at or above minimum wage standards you have no course of action. Wages are at the employers discretion unless in a unionized environment in which they will be negotiated from time to time.

I haven't had one in 3 years either. Unfortunately its legal but does nothing for employee moral.
