Does my employer cheat me by paying me regular hours even when time moves back in my shift. I clocked in at 10 pm, Time was adjusted at 1.00 am back to 12.00 am and I clocked out at 6 am getting 8 hours pay but working 9 hours. Is he required by law to compensate me for the extra hour worked?

While its only a certain culture thats responsible for terrorism,we are all treated like potential terrorists when travelling by air. Is this fair? I myself have e-mailed the British Airline Authority asking for some common sense to be used,is this something you feel strong about or am i alone here?

My brother sold his house early and is going to stay with me for two weeks while his New house is being built.
My problem is my Nephew is a typical untrained spoiled bratty ...and is ALMOST 4 year old.
And he has already terrorized their own poor dog that had to bite the kid in self defense..
My dog is a very smart 3 year old Doberman male named Troy.....who is not going to put up with rowdy savage behavior
I warned my brother That I will not except any rude and physical abuse towards my Dog ...And if he cannot control his son 100% of the time, than do not step foot on my property with him.
So my brother suggested that I write up an agreement that if anything happens So my dog or I will not be liable ....Is this a good Idea?
What should I do?
I will not be at home during the day on weekdays and Troy has free rein of our home ....Can I trust my brother?

A well known genealogy site when they first set up their web site
as part of there promotion stated a free trial and the possibility to cancel free trial after 1 month or be billed for 1 year ,did not in fact have a existing web structure for people to do so and cancel before they were continually billed. Some people spotted this action and together with a law firm decided to file a suit that would be loosely referenced to this incident . This loose reference enabled a suit to, if people wanted ,include them into this group suit. The iniciating plaintifs had access to records of former customers who also were effected by this incident, this alone I think is dodgy-Data protection. Anyway a group sum settlement was settled and was interpretated by agreement of both defendant and principle plaintif agreeing group to be an amount in the region of $250,000.this would after all named group plantifs agreed to settle ment in kind of 1 months free subscription to web site. What should I do?

I recentley was involved in an accident after a night drinking at a bar. The bar staff took my keys from me early in the night, but after I became differcult and aggressive they gave them back to me to get me out.

While backing out of the carpark I was briefly distracted and didnt realise the handbrake was off, ended up rolling into a phonebox that was being used at the time, pinning an elderly woman inside for about 6 hours, while I was unconcious at the wheel.

Now the elderly woman is sueing me for mental anguish due to being trapped for so long.

I would like to sue the bar for letting me out of their premises with the keys to my vehicle, fully aware of my high level of intoxication at the time.

Has anyone had a similar case? and if so was it successful?

What is up with legal pot stores. I have seen on TV that all you need is a letter from your doctor and you can buy legal marijuana. Is this true?

Will it work to my benefit if I complete this voluntary portion of the application that the governement requires employers to request, or should I not complete it at all and leave the employer guessing. I want the job. I think the government does this because they want to promote "equal opportunity employment". How equal is it though if I am put lower on the list because I am a white man? I'm a white man and an immigrant from Canada living in Fresno, California. And believe me, I feel like a minority sometimes!

And the courts of that State (PA) will do nothing to assist the father. The Ex wife in question is even having the children call her BF Daddy.
It is agains written laws in the state of PA for this to happen, but the courts repeatedly rule in her favor, tell her "Bad Girl, here's the slap on your hand".

So, My question to you , is this...Seeing as how she is refusing his rights, and the courts are not helping him (AT ALL!)

I was recently turned down from one place, after paying a $40.00 Application fee, because of a few possession of marijuana charges on my record. I would hate to keep paying those fees for every place I look into only to be rejected.
