I guarantee you it is a fraud.

report it to the police immediately. And report the email abuse to Yahoo! at abuse@yahoo.co.uk

if you have given them any personal or bank information, go see your bank asap in case they try to steal your identity.

In the future when you receive an email like this, just report it as spam / abuse, block the sender, and delete it.

I have put links below so you can read a little more about 'Lottery Fraud' and educate yourself.

good luck

Any 'prizes' emaniting from the continent of Africa are to be avoided like the plague! And remember the principal, you cannot win a prize in a competition you never entered in the first place.
From the tone of your question, it would seem you are already involved! If you are, cut loose now. And DON'T go ANYWHERE!
There is no such thing as a free lunch! Nobody give you vast amounts of money just like that! Nobody gives you money for nothing, period! Simple, basic stuff. Don't be a sucker!

There was a story about this on one of the news magazine programs, IE 20/20, Sixty Minutes. It is a huge scam and people have been bilked out of thousand's and thousand's of dollars. DO NOT get into it even a little bit.

You would have to be a donkey to think something like that is serious and not a fraud.

The thing you can learn from this is:

Trust NOBODY when it comes to money.

Money can change the sweetest heart into an evil beast.

Well if you have seen it is fraud then ignore it or report it to yahoo. you should never reply though because they spam thousands of people with these and they don't even know if your email is valid, so if you reply they will then know and pass your email onto other dodgy companies. I don't even open those ones!
