I feel they should leave old George off and put God on. He is more important then any president we will ever have. Once again we are letting foreign people tell us what can and can not be displayed. If you come to my country you should honor our ways just as I will honor your ways in your country. It won't do any good to boycott the using of the coin because money is money and money is the root of all evil. I just feel that in God we trust has always been a part of our currency and should continue to be so.

Scooter Libby is on trial for lying and obstructing justice in the investigation of the CIA leak. If it's important enough to bring Libbly to trial what about the person who really did the leaking, Richard Armitage? He's already admitted he's the one who actually leaked the information. Yet there's no trial contemplated for him. Do you wonder why?

Only reason I ask is because I'm out on bail right now and a little short of cash. But there is no way I'm gonna show up for the hearing. I figure if I can get me a passport, I'm out of here.

after calling 911 (themselves). Once admitted to the hospital ICU, they quickly stablize and want to leave. Do you think criminal charges should be pressed against them if they leave Against Medical Advice? I have my own opinion, but I'm curious what other people think. In your answer, let me know in what field you work or study, please.

I live in Wisconsin and was granted an injunction (restraining order) against an attorney. I am not an attorney, nor can I afford one. I received a letter, from the Family Court Commisioner stating that the defendant violated SCR 3:5 and SCR 3:3 with a letter received from the defendant, to a judge. I have a sworn affidavit from the sheriff for service of the court papers to the defendant. She denies service. However, she contacted the judge a day before the court date and said she found out about the court proceedings on wisconsin ccap online and that she would not be attending the hearing. We were granted the injunction.
The defendant, an attorney, and her attorney have filed a motion for a hearing de novo. The sheriff who served the papers, accidentally wrote down the incorrect address for the defendant, but he is familiar with the defendant and swears he served her.
I have 2 questions: How can they remove a previous court order and make it start all over? Can we oppose it?

A friend of mine, has had a recent and minor run in with the system. But through ALL of it, out local District Attorney has dropped the ball, almost missing filing dates, getting the details wrong, having to correct his paperwork, and the judge complained that my friend should be punished not for his crime, but for what he COULD do in the future.

I'm starting to wonder, if they have done so poorly on such a simple case, if they could handle a really hard one!

Just curious, how many have faith in the whole judicial process, and laws? I dont see much fairness when a theif can sometimes send more time in jail than a murderer!

I was at the mall when I walked up to a massage booth. All of the chairs were occupied , so one of the massagers told me to sit in the waiting seat until a chair becomes available. I had been sitting there for a while when a Caucasian male walked up. About two minutes later, a seat became available. The massager looked at me (an African American female)and then looked at the man and signaled him to sit in his chair. I was baffled, so I asked the massager why did he put the guy in front of me. He said, "I am student, I will let you wait for teacher" Enough said. He must of thought that I was very stupid. I feel so bad. I was treated like I was a dumb nothing. And he did this in front of people in the mall. I have witnesses. Does anybody know a good civil rights attorney?
