Why do liberals say that they are Human Righty's Activists and so adamantly support it, but they completely deny the rights of children who are aborted? Please help me understand their perspective, I can not.

Let me also say that I am not asking whether or not you believe if a baby in a mother's womb is alive or not...because then there would be no point to the question. Pretend for a minute that a baby, no matter at what stage, is alive and then answer the question. Why should the mother have more rights then the baby?

Thats a loaded question with no real right or wrong answer. I am what you would consider a liberal. I am all for human rights, liberty and equality for all, and I am pro-choice. Being a man, it might be easier to be pro choice because I would never be in the position to have to make the choice to have an abortion. I guess it would all have to come down to when you personally think life begins, either at conception or at birth. I personally think that using abortion as birth control is wrong. There are other ways to make sure you don't get pregnant. But when it comes down to issues like rape, incest, or bringing a child into this world with no means or will of supporting them then I say I'm pro-choice.
Giving a child up for adoption isn't that easy either, there are so many children in this world starving, in un-loving and abusive situations that part of me thinks it may be a blessing to never have to be born into that kind of life. Its up to the individual who is in that situation, they have to live with their decision, and the consiquenses that decision brings.
No one really knows for sure if there is an after life, if there is a god, and if things we do in life will effect that afterlife. It all comes down to personal faith. As long as you have your faith, and convictions, you have to be able to respect the fact that others may have different beliefs. You don't have to like it, or agree with it, but if you believe in the bible, and this is where your convictions on abortion come from, then you have to believe in the fact that 'GOD gave us that freedom of choice".
Does any of that make sense? Again, please understand I can't speak for everyone, just myself. And my opinion may may be wrong too:)

Because they aren't children. It cannot survive outside of the womb, doesn't have a heart beat, doesn't have a brain. Abortion is usually done during the first trimester. Liberals also believe that it's the woman's choice and shouldn't be dictated by legislation.
I would also turn this around on the conservatives...why so against abortion, but so eager for the death penalty and war?

I am afraid it is not all black and white as you put it. Why should a woman who has been raped (for example) ruin her life for a child that she never wanted? You may say that there are adoption agencies, etc. I for one would not want to carry a child around for 9 months, put my life on hold, and my health at risk for a child I do not want.

A embryo is not a child until it has awareness.
The parallel is - if you went into a restraint and ordered chicken, you would be totally naffed off if you were given egg.

They haven't yet realized that life begins at conception or just choose to deny the evidence. It is all selfish self justification, otherwise how could they live with themselves with all the murders they have condoned or actively participated in.
