I agree with you so much!! If we would let God lead us we would be blessed beyond our wildest imaginations! It is a real shame that we do allow foreign people push thier ways on us. It is even going so far that judges pattern their verdicts after them!

The new coin does not lack for "In God We Trust." It is on the side of the coin. The Mint, from what I read, did this to make the portrait of the President larger.
Who exactly are these "foreign people tell us what can and can not be displayed"?
And money is not "the root of all evil." It is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil (i.e., what you do with it).

Well, actually, the words were not added to US money until the height of the Cold War as a slap in the face to communism. Just as "under god" was added to the pledge until around the same time.
Try learning some history before you make ignorant comments like the one you posted.
And, if money is the root of all evil, as you put it, why would you want your god mentioned on it in the first place.
And, there are plenty of us out here who do not believe in any sort of god whatsoever. I guess we just have to sit back and take it according to your thinking.

The new $1 George Washington coin has the words "in God we trust". I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Check out the web page below for pics.

You are misinformed. The new $1 coin DOES contain these words. They are on the side of the coin,
Looks like someone lied to you to get you all mad. You might want to stop believing what these people tell you, huh?
That said, the ways of the US are NOT to believe in God. You are welcome to believe however you wish. And if that means NOT trusting God, then you don't have to. So, if you want a country where "In God We Trust" is more than a meaningless slogan, YOU should move to a country where this is true. Vatican City and Iran are just two such countries.

1st off, we were all foreign at one time,....secondly, I was born and raised in America, and I am NOT a christian. I do not think that God should be mentioned in refrence to government. Not only is it oppressive, it is offensive to people who do not believe in your God. We are taking a step in the right direction by leaving it off.
Lastly, presidents made this country into what it is. They laid the foundation for the world as we know it....not God.

It is staying on the coin. It will be put around the edge, not on either face.

You say you will honor any others' ways if they honor yours. But you clearly want YOUR WAY on the coin. The best way to honor everyone's ways is to leave religion and any religious meanings off of our currency.

I thought the words were on the rim of the coin - the edge.
I have not seen one up close yet.
