I'm a California resident and im very upset with the "no sell hand guns" law. I'm from Oakland and it's a dangerous city to live in. I know they stopped selling hand guns to 'stop' crimes, well guess what? There are still shootings and killings in my city. I can't protect myself if someone tries to come into my house. Criminals can easily get guns from the streets, while a hard working joe like me is left defenseless. People who live in nice neighborhoods may say "You don't need a gun, just call the police", well "hahaha" Oakland police don't bother to get your house until 5-8 hours later. Well i just wanted to know how i could get a hand gun legally? would i have to travel to another state to buy one? if so would it be hard for me to buy one because I'm from California? Would California let me bring it in legally? I know it may seem like a lot to go thru but im just a hard working joe not wanting to buy a dirty gun off the street. thank you for taking the time to read this.

I'm looking for news articles, tv or radio reports, art work or songs that talk about government control over the lives of citizens and how far their invasion of our private lives go. Does any one know some good internet sites I can go to?
Thanks!

Our city was a ghost town on Sunday due to the Super Bowl, but yet a high percentage of Americans do not vote and have no interest in understanding how laws and government regulations effect them on a daily basis. What's up with that?

The Indian caste hurting others?!
First it was the Muslims, than Christians and now,
rescently it has been the Buddhists and Jainists. I mean they even have caste system for people outside the Hindu faith living in India, what the heck. This is just sick and needs to stop and I want to know, why has this force conversion and other harsh punishment are indured by other faiths in India. I know the U.N. does nothing most of the time, but they need to open there eyes, before India becomes the next Sri Lanka.

I think all sexual crimes done to children should have serious punishments !!!........What kind of punishment should sex offenders get?
Here's mine for men (have their penis removed)
For women (some how disfigure the genitalia area)

As a mother of small children I would hope that this would never happen to anyone. We need to instill stronger laws against sex offenders.

What punishment would you want to pass as law?

The night of Feb 2' 2007 I was sitting at a red light when a car t-boned me. (Hit me directly in the drivers side) On the back quarter panel, exactly where the gas tank is. The lady who hit me was arrested at the scene. My boyfriend was in the car with me. Neither of us were taking by Ambulance to the ER, we went on our own directly after the wreck. Nothing was broken, I have a few scratches on my hand and face, along with back problems, and trouble with ribs. I presume just bruised. The drunken parties insurance company has tried to contact her and she is not getting back to them. They said they are unable to resolve the matter til they speak with their client the one who is not cooperating. (Would it be in my best interest to get a lawyer? Or now do I just have to sit and wait til this lady decides that it's the right thing to do and talk to her insurance company.

I heard that one of the consequences of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 is that anything purchased with Federal Reserve Notes are automatically property of the United States Government. This is what makes the "unlawful" searches and seizures performed by the IRS actually lawful. What is the truth behind this, and can you cite proper U.S. Code?

They are citizens, and therefore have all the rights the constitution gives everyone. But in schools, students are constantly oppressed....no cussing (what the hell is that about!?!?), uniforms, no bringing any electronics on campus, allowing staff members to search and seize student backpack and items without a warrant, etc....
WHY is this injustice allowed to continue!?!?

Is there a future in this? It's rarely new. Considering getting a Masters in Conflict Resolution. Sounds good but if anyone has some advice or input that would be great.

It's a fairly new specialty and segment in law. Many corporations I believe are opting to take this route rather than spend large and unnecessary amounts of money going through a time consuming litigation.

I kind of got a raw deal from Jeep, where they didn't cover something under my warrenty that I strongly, strongly feel should have been covered under warranty. They refuse to cover it, and was wondering how much the court costs are to sue someone in magistrate court, and if I win, can I recover court costs?

As the title shows. I need to verify weather or not I am the father of a newborn that a woman claims I am. It is possibly true, on the other hand, it may be false. Is getting this done possible without getting a lawyer, she doesn't seem receptive to getting this done voluntarily. Why should I get a lawyer if I'm just going to end up getting a court-ordered standard child support payment plan if it is mine. Unless they can help lower my payments, I don't see what more they can do for me - just another expense. If they can help me in ways I can't accomplish myself, about how much would it cost?

Ive never thought of it till recently.
We all see it in movies and its happened in real life too. Why do US criminals cross the border?? Won't the charges that were issued here in US be transferred or moved into mexico and face the same charges there??
