I am in the U.S Army infatnry. I have 60 days left in my enlistment contract or do I. I will be involuntary extended to the needs of the Army. Does this hurt recruitment? When I do get out I will not advise young people to join on the basis that your chances of getting out are very slim. What should be done about this?

Case example: Someone you know is driving under suspension after losing thier licence by judges order in court. Do you tell the police that they are doing it even though you know it will adversely affect their life or do you mind your own buisness. Assume the person continues to drink as before but you haven't seen them driving drunk.

Why do you have the right to abortion anyhow ?
If it is a constitutional right show me where it is written so it can be ammended .
They say it is the womans body , it is her choice . Didn't she make that choice when she had sex ? Nope in their view she didnt . So she has the choice to have sex or not and then to abortion or not . If she chooses to have the child then she has the right to child support too . So she gets all the choices ? yes she does . They said the man could have wore a condom, but the woman could have took birth control , or not had the sex . That was her choice . So since she had the choice to have sex or not , then had the choice to abort or not , without any choice being given to the man , how then can she demand child support ? shouldnt the man have the choice rather to pay the child support ? since she was the one who decided to have the child ?
I have never seen it written in the constitution that give rights to abortion but it does say that any power not given is reserved to the states
ALSO......... even though it isnt wrtten in the constitution giving any abortion right it is written in the constition that grants EVERYONE EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW ! !
So if she has the right to have sex ! if she has the right to abort or not to ! then should she have the right to child support ?
Where is the equal protection under the law as granted via the constitution

One of my aquaintences took my car without my consent to run an errand for his girlfriend and ended up blowing out two of my tires and causing some damage to the lower ends of my car. What do i need to do to make sure he pays and compensates for everything that needs to be compensated for?

Because I will not go by his word when he says he'll help me pay for everything..

I loaned "a friend" money, she paid for awhile (we have a signed contract), but then quit paying. I need to add that I loaned it to her to secure her sick father a bed in a nursing home. I did it for all the right reasons! But I won't do it again. Needless to say, we're not friends anymore. Trying to sue her, but think she might have filed for bankruptcy or home is in foreclosure. What do I do now?

i'm a responsible adult....i have a job that i show up to on time every day, i dont drive drunk or stoned(except an occasional late-night munchie run to taco bell), i dont kill, beat, or hurt anyone...so why, if i want to get high after work, cant i just get high? (without worrying if im going to get caught)
how many marijuana related accidents do you hear about each year? how many deaths or beatings resulting from being high? but alcohol? tabacco?
whats the deal?

If a guy who has never had anytime rights to his son and has a criminal record after he became a father who now wants to have some custody have any rights? He does have past drug charges and served time. He still has acase ongoing now that he was a fugitive but he was locked up at the time. He also has violent charges he did time for. The only report I ever filed on him was for stealing my car but I never called police when he hit me. He lives in Va I live In IN and I am not paying money for my son to go to visit him. He also lives with a jealous gf and he said that she didn't like hearing himtalk about his son so i takt that as a hostile environment and he won't go near her.
Does anyone know about custody lasw or where I can get more info online. I am researching books before I get an atty or file for support (he never gave support either but can afford to put somebody up in his new apt.).

My fiance is being acused of abuseing an under age girl while she was asleep. He said he didn't do it. It was his sisters friends daughter and the night they are talking about he said they were all drunk (it was 2 years ago). He doesn't actually remember, but it is not something that he would do and his sister was there. This girls therapist now wants to speak to him he is terrified about going to jail. And not being able to prove that she is lying. Does anyone know the process on this kind of thing or what we can do?

I'm a server and the restaurant i work at is l.a. based and they just started this new policy that if an order was made and it was wrong for some reason, regardless if it was your mistake or the customer's, the server is responsible for paying the full cost of the dish. this seems so wrong and unfair! is this legal? to make servers pay for mistakes? any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Small Claims Court Question...Can I bring legal action solely for the purpose of a proclamation?

In my state there are no "unit pricing" laws and as such some stores post what I think are very deceptive signage (regarding pricing). Does a judge have the power to declare the signs are deceptive if there's no laws requiring signs not to be? (Do small claims judges have the power to legislate from the bench?)

i asked for my $24.95 refund from singlesnet.com on dec. 28 and i called 2 weeks later because i didnt get it yet. they said they issued my refund already. i called back today because it did not say in my paypal i got a refund and they asked for my conf. code. which i didnt have anymore because that was last december already. and its now february. well they just kept putting me on hold for a long time and say there was no records you even called and hang ups. i called how many times and waited and they eventually just hung up. they are from florida and i am from california. how can i file a small claims. all i have are my phone bills that show i have called there. can i use that against them? and i can just add the costs of the small claims court fees and and my minutes being put on hold that i have to pay for.

I have a sexual harrassment case going on against an employer that has something to do with mail. My lawyer offered them a settlement for around $50-$90,000 & there final offer was 5,000 but my lawyer fees are $3,000 so I will only receive $2,000 should I take it or wait to go to court and risk losing and paying them $4,000 of there legal fees or I could also win & get at least $50,000
What should I do I only have one day to make my decision... Help.

i was driving, and there was a police car on the side of the road. i got distracted and hit (very lightly) the car infront of me. we both got out and exchanged insurance information, but when i saw both our cars, there was no damage whatsoever. the hit was way too light. in fact, the police officer didn't even spend a lot of time with us bc it was such a minor accident if anything. the back of her (the person i hit) car has a lot of dust on it, and there are patterns from the dust, but other than that, there is no damage whatsoever. however the woman was pulling crap out of her *** and saying that "you can't see it bc there's a lot of dust, but there are some markings here"-- and pointing at some line in the dust. i was tempted to just reach out and clear the dust with my hand and shout "there's NOTHING you idiot!" but i just smiled and nodded. i asked her if there was any way that we didn't have to involve insurance companies and just have me pay her the money. she agreed to call me.

Everday I go to work half the staff comes in high and it's quite obvious. I work in an upscale restuarant and make very good money and don't want to quit my job. But at the same time, I can't stand going into work and taking up the slack for my high coworkers. The owner found a bag of pot laying on the dining room floor and laughed, and another girl was banging her one-hitter on the garbage can in the servers station and there are at least two known dealers that work here and I would fear for my life if I turned them into the police if they asked my name. I'm tired of the drugs and want a drug-free workplace. What should I do?

I have been sexually harrased by a co-worker since he started. It is getting out of hand and I am scared. I confronted the guy last week and he started swearing and yelling at me calling me names. I don't know what to do I am a single mother and I need my job so bad. My boss is an ******* and he just thinks the guy could do no wrong. I am scared to go to my boss because to be honest I think he would fire me before he would fire the guy who is harrasing me. I cry everyday and this is affecting my life. I feel the guy is doing it on purpose to make me quit. It is very clear the guy has issues with women and I beleive he is harrasing me in order to make me quit. I beleive if it gets any worse this physco is going to hurt me. Does anyone have any advise for me.

I work in a geriatric ward and the ward sister has started to insist that the night staff get some patients up and washed and dressed before the day staff start at 7am. In order to do this these patients would have to be woken at around 5.30am. His excuse is that the day staff don't have the time for every patient due to staff shortages etc. Most of these patients are incapable of making a choice. Do you think this is abuse and what can be done?
