Grow some balls, do the right thing, and turn them in. If not, at least quit your job. What is the money worth to you. That sums up everything wrong with this country, people to coward to confront the very things destroying us.

You are justified in being afraid of retaliation. Unfortunately, the restaurant business everywhere you go in this country fails to provide a completely drug-free workplace. I could detail reasons for this, but why bother? If you notify the police you risk being discovered as the informant by the process of elimination. The police (I may be wrong) will have to tell the owner that there has been a report of drug use by the employees. Simple math will narrow down to you. You must either tolerate this behavior and let the natural consequences of the destructive behavior at your workplace take its course, or you will need to leave this job for another. Good luck.

I've been in that position before. Work away and don't get caught up in it. If you don't have a union you could end up being the bad guy that is rocking the boat. He can find an excuse with your work being not up to snuff or some other such excuse.
Your workers will turn against you to save their jobs. You'll be on your own and the labour board's a joke. If you feel that strongly
look for another job. I sympathize with you. I've been used dirty on jobs big time after giving my all. It can be a very unfair world and there aren't many options.

First of all, no one knows how she died. The toxicology reports haven't even come out yet. So you can't say she killed herself/OD'd etc. Second, The Beatles were junkies and we still honor them. Also, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, MARILYN MONROE, and many more were junkies too. And we honor them everyday and see them as role models. But people get mad cause ONLY NJ decide to lower their flag for someone who came from a small town in NJ, blossomed into a WORLDWIDE star and made differences in people's lives with her music. Seriously, get your head out of your butt. We're not "honoring dead junkies". Whitney was human just like all the rest of those celebrities I listed. People make mistakes. She was a role model. But she was human too. NJ still honors fallen heroes, but for once, let them do what they want. Whitney was a HUGE part of their community, so I think they have a right to lower the flag. I see no problem with it. And if the flag at half mast is good enough for Frank Sinatra, why not Whitney Houston?

I worked in restaurants for many years and I will tell you that at least 90% of the people there smoke weed. If they were to drug test waiters, they would not have a staff...job is stressful and thankless...let them toke up. By the way, pot isn't as bad for you as all the pharmaceutical/cotton lobbies would have you believe....alcohol is FAR worse for you and the people you are around!

Go to a phone booth at least 15 miles from your home or work and place an anonymous tip to 9-1-1 or your local emergency number. Your anonymity will always be respected and the police will, in most cases, investigate. If you're not involved, you have nothing to fear.
Good luck

Do what you think is best. In the meantime start looking for a better job. It can't be that upscale if employee's are coming to work stoned. Be careful.

You have two choices; quit and find another job or risk calling the police. There are no other options here. Your decision.

Very common in low paying jobs. Owner would not be able to staff if he made it drug free. QuiT your job and find a better one that is drug free
