I can understand your frustration, but it is really going to cost you more in time, money, and aggravation to try to sue for this amount in small claims court. Just getting valid service on a Florida corporation is going to be a major pain. Report this to any financial organization which was involved (credit card, bank, paypal, etc.). You could also make a report to the Better Business Bureau. If you think they are engaged in fraudulent practices, you could also make a police report, though if this is not a major problem they probably will not be interested.

Assuming you're interior the united kingdom, the answer is as follows. there is not any such ingredient because the small claims courtroom. There are small claims, that are dealt with interior the county courtroom alongside with different claims, yet there is not any certain or different courtroom. Small claims (below £5k or £1k if personal damage) is one of those dispute decision. There are not any costs presented (keep for the courtroom fee for the claimant of £sixty 5) and for this reason the contract fee is extremely intense. i'm afraid that you've were given to ignore any solutions (little question nicely-intentioned) that recommend any percentage figure of fulfillment because they're completely made up (whoops! countless thumb-downs for me!). The DCA do no longer keep stats of fulfillment for both claimants (or defendants) so no-one is popular with what percentage win or lose. i have been a criminal professional for 15 years and that i do not comprehend so i'm fascinated to make certain the efficient assertions above and the position those come from. The small claims technique helps human beings to convey modest claims in the previous a decide without the worry of enormous criminal expenditures. It also helps defendant's to shelter otherwise sturdy claims without the worry of enormous criminal expenditures - so it isn't a one-way street. So once you've a respectable declare, provide it a flow - all you lose is your courtroom situation fee and an afternoon putting 'round at courtroom. wish this helps

What can you prove? Did you record the names of the people you spoke to and what they said? Do you have anything in writing? You MIGHT win if you don't have any evidence, but it really helps to have clear documentation.

Another question is: is this worth spending a long dreary day in court? It's under $25- how much earnings will you loose while you are in court?

Heck, if it is a matter of long-distnace calls, I would not even bother with that any more either. $25 is just not worth the headache!
