Case example: Someone you know is driving under suspension after losing thier licence by judges order in court. Do you tell the police that they are doing it even though you know it will adversely affect their life or do you mind your own buisness. Assume the person continues to drink as before but you haven't seen them driving drunk.

Are you willing to take the responsibility if/when that person injures himself or somebody else while driving drunk when you already believe he is doing it?

Every person has the right to do to themselves whatever they wish but nobody has the right to harm another human being needlessly or from selfish inconsideration. Allowing another to be harmed due to fear of fouling up a person's life when they really are doing it to themselves is negligence and you are responsible if somebody else gets hurt.

To voluntarily not take any action is to agree to take the responsibility for another person being harmed.

That is your own personal decision. Personally, it would depend on how much I knew the person, but I don't know if I would be going to the police, but I would confront the person. Drunk driving is just so senseless. In the end you should confront the person about it, f they have stopped drinking and driving, then that is good, but if they continue to do it, it is up to you what you think should be done about it. The court judgment might be law, but in the end, you have to look at the situation and you moral beliefs.

I would stay well out of it, unless he offers you a lift or something. Besides, sometimes the law isn't the same at all as what's right. Someone might have been wrongfully convicted. A judge and jury are only human and they don't know the facts, it's built that way - so they make mistakes same as anyone else.
