I kind of got a raw deal from Jeep, where they didn't cover something under my warrenty that I strongly, strongly feel should have been covered under warranty. They refuse to cover it, and was wondering how much the court costs are to sue someone in magistrate court, and if I win, can I recover court costs?

sorry for lack of details. It will be in the state of West Virginia, and 50 - 100 dollars is all i'll be out? And can I recover court costs should the judge side with me? Also, it WILL be small claims court, the value is less than 100 dollars. I'm looking more for nominal damages than anything else.

I don't know where you are so I cannot tell you with any specificity what the court costs will be. Depending on how much money you are seeking, this determines what court you sue in (at least in NYS). If its under around $5000 or so, you go to small claims court. For amounts above that, you go to state court. Usually filing fees are about $50 for small claims and about $150 for state court. good luck
