I've been contacted by other people that have been victims of this eBay seller and I am collating information to hopefully get some justice for I believe a large number of people. Adam C Dovey is known to have lived in Brighton in England and has conned a number of people into paying large amounts of money into his bank account. If you are a fellow victim or know where he is please contact me - gilesNOwendesSPAM@hotmail.com (remove NO SPAM) I am posting here after I have been contacted by this site having a good deal of traffic from google.com

Ok so I know with being a cop there is a certain degree of confidentiality assumed but what I am wondering is, do you share what goes on at work with your significant other? Are there certain things you do/do not tell your significant other, or is it 'safe' to share your war stories with the one person you are supposed to love and trust? Thanks!!!

My sister lives in my parents house, she and her husband have been saying for a few years now that they were going to buy it. My mother has not lived with them, she has lived with another sister in town as her house is on the lake. Mom has passed away, and of course sister in the house has said they can quick deed the house because there is no will. Which there is but believe that she has destroyed it because of her only being left 1.00. The house is also in forclosure, and when that summons was served they served it to the house on the lake instead of where my mother lived and my sister signed her own name, the wrote room mate of and signed my mothers name. Is all of this legal and true? Does she have a right to quick deed just for living in the house. I have proof in writing they were planning on buying the house.

5 1/2 years ago i bought a sofa from a catalogue company which turned out to be faulty after 3 months. They offered me a repair but i refused and told them to come and collect it, they refused so i stopped payments,I had made two payments totalling £120, i had to get a solicitor who they ignored and they kept on writing to me directly. They eventually sold the debt on and a collection agency contacted me, i told them the sofa was ready to collect anytime and after a couple more letters they left me alone. Now 2 1/2 years after that, another agency has contacted me wanting payment, i sent the first letter back and have just recieved another from them. The sofa is in the garage wrapped up, can i refuse to pay? Why should i pay for somrthing that is faulty. I'm a single mother on income support and this is starting to keep me awake at night. Can they take any of my possessions?

Is that legal for a person to use MY photos, name (first, last, middle) and things that are mine online? For instance. There is this girl who is running around the internet using my name and photos. She's hacked into my old OLD yahoo account and e-mailing and making 'online friendships' with my name and leading men on to believe the wrong thing about me. She or they are creating myspaces, livejournals, yahoo's, AIM accounts, everything. It's really starting to piss me off. There is even one using my name and my information and things I've written and using some other girl who looks just like me photos.

Is this legal? Isn't there something I can do.

It's kinda of a long story. I am a family member. On all my father's medical history and transcripts, I am his next of Kin but he never adopted me legally. He passed away after making peace with his sister in her home, and now she is claiming to be his next of kin. And making all the funeral arrangements. I am the primary beneficiary on all his accounts and his will, but I dont know where I can request a death certificate for time off at work and etc. I dont want to ask her becuase I dont trust her and she is being very mean to me about not being blood related. Then again, I have never been thru this. Someone please give me the right direction. I live in California. He died in Pomona, CA.

This country is driving me nuts at the moment. What with all this political correctness being implemented and the fact that you are not able to say what you feel anymore, whatever happened to freedom of speech?

Also what is going on with the prison system at the moment? Ok so prisons are full, but why are sex offenders, paedophiles etc being allowed out on the street to re-offend when you have the likes of the benefit fraudster who was filmed running a Marathon being locked up? Ok he was out of order and should be punished, but he is no danger to society is he? He is not going to kill or maim anyone and Im not gonna poop my pants if I saw him walking down the street.

All this plus the cost of living, taxes etc. is it any wonder that last year 15,000 Brits moved overseas?

In mid Nov 2006. I was reversing out of a car park and there was another car waiting to use the space. I looked back before reversing and there was no car behind me. I started reversing and heard a little bump sound so I immediately stop. I saw my car has hit the other person car nearest to the drivers door causing a little dent. It wasn't the owner of the other car that was driving but the owner was present. This car just came to park right behind me so they could use my space. They did not blow their horn or anything and just watched my car hit theirs.
Now they said is my fault I have to either claim it from my insurance or we settle it outside insurance. I have not heard from them since Nov 06 and suddenly I have been receiving phone calls from them. I'm not sure what my options are cos I don't want to claim from my insurance and I don't think I'm entirely guilty either.
Any legal advice on what I should do?
