We seem to be a bunch of goody two shoes on here. My answer is the same as the majority...treat others as you wish to be treated. I also have a personal addendum. I don't lie. Ever. Not even to spare someone else. (I may choose to not speak, but I never lie.) It comes from having to deal with an ex-husband who did nothing but lie for 16 years of marriage.

Don't wait for people to earn respect. Offer it 1st so that the other person has a chance to live up to the respect already given. -- Give people a 2nd chance. They may have treated me badly b/c they have something awful going on in their personal life. -- Help people up instead of putting them down. -- Don't make assumptions about people's actions. Somethings are not as clear cut as they appear to be. Such as, all of the above are selfish motivations in that, helping others to be the best they can be will end up providing me a better world to live in.

“Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity.”

“Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.”

“Integrity is what we do, what we say, and what we say we do” ~ Don Galer

“Integrity has no need of rules.” ~ Albert Camus
