i am dealing with stearns county on a chips case and there have been alot of things done out of character by the social worker, guardian of litem, attorneys assigned to the father and the attorney which represents the county. Such as results of UA's to people other then the county without consent from the father or the mother of the children involved. Stearns county and Sartell Polices departments tactics and procedures to obtain my children are not justifiable. We feel that our case should be dropped and children returned because of neglect on the counties/police depts part. We have done what they asked and then some. They have asked my children to lie to us and others concerning them. Where do we go to seek honest help with this matter, and what do we do to proceed further to see that this wrong of theirs is justified and made right for out childrens sake. It is harmful for them in several ways due to lack of morals on their part. Thank you for your time. Shelly (Loehrer) Steven and Lindsey Steven (good parents that were set up wrongfully. Ours kids need us as bad as we need them. Please I have no where to turn about this that I can trust. As you know that chips cases are very hard to proceed legal action against. We have tried with several attorneys. There has got to be something we overlooked that could make this right in the eyes of the court and god. Thank you again.

recently there has been a pitbull loose in my neighborhood..i've called animal control on it three times..this dog has attacked my dog that is chained...animal control seems to not be doing their job..after the attack i called and they said they would look for the dog.even though they know who he belongs to. They go around the neighborhood once then leave. just this weekend the dog was loose saturday at 6am, then sunday at 7 am with a boxer snd then later in the day with atleast 5 other dogs..couldnt call animal control then because they dont work weekends..just had to run the dogs off..if something bad happens to my dog like a death i plan on sueing the owner of the pit, but would i also be able to sue animal control? the thing that gets me is Animal control know who he belongs too, they've had problems with this dog before..so why arent they going to the owners? animal control in ran by the police department here..so the police know..they have been called to our house too about this dog..he said there is nothing he could do but try to locate the dog, even though he could catch it or anything..this was a Saturday that animal control wasnt working.

I do not believe that these people can ever be helped and I know it sounds barbaric but surely they should be put on an island (or somewhere similiar) where they cannot escape. If they were also sterilized it would stop them breeding and the genetics being carried forward. This would isolate the problem as they always reoffend.

Case Study: Presently in UK, the christain adoption agencies has decided shut down if the government makes it illegal [under racial and sexual discrimination laws] for them to turn away gay couples. Homosexuality goes against core orthodox christian values and rather than go against their convictions and obey the law, these agencies are willing to withdraw their services....
Bear in mind that this law has the tendency for government to force their idea of morality on people. The church seeks exemption from having to place children with gay families but does not fanatically oppose gay adoption.
Do you think they deserve special treatment simiply becos of their beliefs? OR should the govt's law override beliefs and other convictions?

For the people in the government to say others are cruel to animals when they euthanize them? What is that? Is that being humane? I don't think so. So the very people who slap others a huge fine should also be fined for animal cruelty themselves. Euthanization is animal cruelty. And you cannot escape the guilt and fault of that. We can't treat animals like thrash and just kill them if nobody wants them. This is what tax payers are paying for? Paying someone to pretend like they are all compassionate and love animals only to euthanize them? I'm not blind. Although I do agree that anyone who is cruel to animals should be punished, the government has no right to cry "animal cruelty"! They are part of the game.

I did an affidavit at a lawters office ,but with the para-legal who works there , she charged me $150.00 but really ended up costing me $250.00, cant go into details now , then she had me wait for some paper from Tallahhassee, ,the paper states this womwn is allowed to do work in Florida , it has other words I cant understand ,but the person who I did it in favour of ,tells me she took it to a lawyer and is not legal, so my question is 'how or where or whom do I contact to find out? I already contacted the office where I had it done and they told me I have to pay more money, as of now I feel Iam being taken for a ride, I do not trust this office there. Please send me some information that I can get without spending more money. thanks. Hugs.

i know a particular group of people that talk about my culture negatively. They speak only in front of associates they have known for a long period of time. People they know won't say anything. people that won't have a voice of their own. They also speak in front of me but only when I'm alone. They never say these negative remarks in front of people they know will have to take action against such discriminatory remarks.

Is it legal for an employer to change a job description and force them to sign it so that the employer can force tasks and additional responsiblilities on staff members that was not a requirement of the job when they were hired? If we don't sign, we have to leave. How is this fair?

this law is outdated and a disgrace on a country that supposedly prides itself on racial and religous tolerance, it may have been accepted as a way of maintaining and protecting its monarchy in the middle ages but it has no place in the 21st century, this type prejudice is a disgrace on a modern country. practice what you preach UK before going around the world trying to right wrongs in other countries is my message to the government. this is religous bigotry in its truest form, how can u preach tolerance of others when your own laws go against it.

Had to endure eight months of therapy (therapist and psychiatrist) and medication due to panic attacks and depression from serious back injury that happened at former employer. Now WC is sending me for my "rate and release". My neighbor said I should take the pathetic settlement cash and pay an attorney to sue for punitive damages. What do you think?

KC V and Nancy W I appreciate the fact that you think that the Law Guardian has not acted inappropriate, but she has. The court date in question came up after I was already gone!! My attorney appeared in my absense. The moving van was at my friends store! She was letting a family that was in the military keep it there until the next day!! If she wasn't acting inappropriate how do you explain not calling on the plates to see who it was rented by?? I hope you never find yourself in a similar situation. You can stay oblivious until then. You never heard about someone being convicted of a crime they did not commit? Thank you for your help

I am trying to settle a dispute at work...

Do you or do you not agree that, especially in such times, it is essential that when considering a partner, that:

1) you do a personal, criminal, employment background check,

2) you perform a credit check,

3) you go to the clinic to be tested for STDs/HIV?

**Co-workers/acquaintances believe that it's meddling in people's private lives and that it's immoral/unethical.

***I believe that it's significant for a relationship to build or dismantle, to cancel out any questions--any unknowns.
I believe that one should be entitled/have the right to do a background check on one's partner if they are looking to involve themselves and open up their private lives with another.
I don't believe enough people are doing this to keep safe.

***What do you think?

Serious input, please, and personal experiences are most welcome. All silliness is encouraged to press the ENTER button and move on.

Thx.
