Are there degrees to it? If not, how come I heard from a friend there are even movies such as Barely legal 1, 2, and 3?

I think barely means that the person just barely meets the requirement for legal: IE if a girl just turned 18 yesterday, she is barely legal.

barely legal is if you are smoking at 17 and a hlaf or what ever and your not 18 or if you hav a sexual relastionship that is not consentual because you are not 16 but you are almost there that is barely legal

ahhhh, the barely legal series....what your friend is referring to is porn, but the actresses in them are definitely legal and from what i've seen, quite experienced...
