Ok so I know with being a cop there is a certain degree of confidentiality assumed but what I am wondering is, do you share what goes on at work with your significant other? Are there certain things you do/do not tell your significant other, or is it 'safe' to share your war stories with the one person you are supposed to love and trust? Thanks!!!

I am not a cop...and by war stories I mean what happens to you out there as a cop.

My significant other is a cop and he has come out and told me that he will NOT tell me EVERYTHING. He went on to explain that there are just certain things that we can talk about but he does not want me to "worry" about him when he is at work. He also knows that I can tell when something has happened or when he is bothered by something. If I push hard enough he will tell me the basics. I am not at all offended by this, I just know that he is trying to protect me.

WOW! What kind of training did you receive to be a cop, sounds like that question may have been in chapter one!
