My boyfriend will be 18 in March, is it possible that he could be released at 18? . . . .or will he need to pay restitution first?

If it's close to the termination date for my clients and they owe restitution, I file to take them back to Court. Sometimes the Court puts a judgement against the child, but sometimes the Court extends the term of probation to be until the restitution is paid in full.

Reading in to your question...and based upon my experience with the courts, I believe your question is if your boyfriend will be released from probation once he pays resitution.

Whether or not a case started as juvenile or otherwise, the probationary period continues until restitution is paid. This way the court has the ability to maintain control over the issue until all the facets of the case are finalized.

Your boyfriend SHOULD be able to pay the resitution off ahead of time thus gaining his release from probation early.

Best wishes!

You have 2 choices, you could either stay with him, marry him, he gets killed comitting another crime dies, you get stuck with his debt which he no-doubtedly will acquire, and you get to live in poverty or go to jail for his crimes. Or you can be smart break up with him while you still haven't gotten in too deep.
