I teach in a public school in the South. Each morning, school is started with the Pledge of Allegiance. I tell students they have a Constitutional right to stand or not to stand, to say it or not to say it. Personally, I do not believe it has a place in a public school, but I do not speak out publicly about it. Many teachers in my building view me as unpatriotic (or even a Communist) for not 'forcing' students to stand and participate. Basically, they see me as more evil because I tell students they have a civil liberty which allows them to decide, for themselves, whether or not to participate. What do you think?

Why is it that when you hear sperm donor reciepients practicing the same kind of crap eugenics that Hitler and his boys did no one callls them on it. I hear people on the news and such saying things like "I new I wanted a donor who was musical," or other such things. I am not naieve I know people are selective in mating. But when you hear it put bluntly by these "tupperware" moms it is kind of disquieting and sounds like something from Berlin in the 40's.

Long story short, it was a bonfire night, I parked where I wasn't supposed to after 10pm. The police wrote me a ticket, and of course he put in all the info, except for the VIN #. As I look closely, all the info seems to match, (the state, registration month & year, type of car, date, body style, etc.), BUT he didnt write the right license plate number!

Let's say if my license number is 7NiA895 but he put in 7NTA895. So he basically miswrote the "i" with a "t". And he didnt write down my VIN #! I dont even know what he was thinking while writing that down...can u say, a careless cop? So does that mean, I dont have to pay and can get away with it? I mean it's not my fault for the cop being careless right? I think God smiled upon me this time =] Let me know guys!

I do not want people to get the wrong perception of this question. I would never ever ever consider it. I realize for the the most part the rule for stagutory rape is if one of the people are over 18 and the other is under. But what if one is 18 and a day and the other one is 17 1/2, is that still stagutory rape? Or is there a clause if they are close enough in age?

About 3 Years ago I was a member of a Mental Health Drop In Center in Lancaster Ohio
I left their orginization where I was a tech support volunteer charged with keeping their computers running due to stress reasons (they were putting unreasonable demands on me to make their computers do more then what they were capable of)
Recently in the last 6 months to a year I have been getting death threat calls on my life because I won't help them any longer and have not helped them in about 2 years now.....
I've moved on with my life and have pursued other interests and choose not to deal with them any longer since the death of a good friend they chose to make out to be like a criminal when she wasn't.......
I want these calls to stop but the director refuses to hear my proof or allow their Board of Directors to hear it either and allows it to continue by taking no action whatsoever?
Is there any recourse I can take legally to make this stop?
