I'm sorry for not being more informed on the subject, but I am fairly certain that the law of conservation of matter and conservation of energy are two seperate laws that basically state the same thing (that it can neither be created nor destroyed), one about energy and the other about matter.

It's known, in the physics books, as "conservation of ENERGY," Energy, which cannot be destroyed, but can be changed to matter, and vice versa... ( if you study enough physics...)

No, I'm pretty sure she means "conversation of matter" it's one of the lesser known laws. I don't even know anything about it...

archaeopt... was correct until Einstein determined matter is a form of energy. Scientists now refer to the conservation of matter and energy.
