About 3 Years ago I was a member of a Mental Health Drop In Center in Lancaster Ohio
I left their orginization where I was a tech support volunteer charged with keeping their computers running due to stress reasons (they were putting unreasonable demands on me to make their computers do more then what they were capable of)
Recently in the last 6 months to a year I have been getting death threat calls on my life because I won't help them any longer and have not helped them in about 2 years now.....
I've moved on with my life and have pursued other interests and choose not to deal with them any longer since the death of a good friend they chose to make out to be like a criminal when she wasn't.......
I want these calls to stop but the director refuses to hear my proof or allow their Board of Directors to hear it either and allows it to continue by taking no action whatsoever?
Is there any recourse I can take legally to make this stop?

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY NO BS SARCASM!!!!!

First, I would find out if that is a State funded organization. You should have recorded the messages or at least the dates and times that they called you. If you have Caller I.D. record the Ph. Nos. If it is State funded, they I would file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General Office and tell them what is going on. The organization if State funded would then probably have their license to operate revoked and the calls should stop.

You need to get documentation about the death threats. That is preserved copies of e-mails or voice mail recordings. With documentation the police will have to investigate.

You should speak with a civil lawyer about whether or not you have a civil case against this organization. The exact merits of your case and the laws involved depend upon the state that you're in.

If all else fails, get the news crews involved. Note I said "If all else fails." If you have a good criminal or civil case going then the press can actually screw it up for you. If however no one will listen to you and you're desperate call the newspaper and local tv stations. They can get enough interest generated to force others to look seriously at your case.

Go to the police department, and file a complaint about the death threats. The police will investigate, and if your account of everything is accurate, then the police will probably take action to ensure the person does not contact you further.

You need to file these threats with the police department since the agency is unwilling to take them seriously.

File a report with the police. then get an attorney!
Unfortunately in this republican era, the only way to make companies be responsible/accountable is to sue them!

Record the phone conversation, and bring it to the police or change your phone number

Call the police, this is a punishable offense. I would think they would lose their business license after something like that.

Who exactly from this organization is making the calls?
Report that individual to the police.
