Why is it that when you hear sperm donor reciepients practicing the same kind of crap eugenics that Hitler and his boys did no one callls them on it. I hear people on the news and such saying things like "I new I wanted a donor who was musical," or other such things. I am not naieve I know people are selective in mating. But when you hear it put bluntly by these "tupperware" moms it is kind of disquieting and sounds like something from Berlin in the 40's.

I agree. I think that it is against God and nature to pick the sex and features of your unborn child. Just take what God gives you. If you're going about it the right way, the child should have some characteristics of you and the one you love. Only in extreme circumstances do I even agree with using a sperm donor.

Well, here is the thing. My ex and I had two kids. We knew each other, were married, and had children together. Women having children on their own never get to meet the person they are getting their child from. So, there has to be some kind of selection process. Most likely, she is describing the type of person that she would likely want to be with in the first place. This is just their way of doing it.
It doesn't stop there. People wanting to adopt basically get to choose everthing about the chld they are going to adopt. White, black, boy, girl, age, etc. It is almost like they are ordering a value meal from McDonalds. But, there are plenty of kids needing to be adopted, so they usually can get what they want.
