can really guys avoid, ignore or run away from the initial presentation of paternity for child support? what are their chances of escaping child support asides from dying or commiting suicide? iwhat if i have his every information?

My husband just got fired. His boss wont tell him why. Just that he is fired. Dont they have to tell you why? or have a reason to fire you? Can he file for unempolyment since they refuse to give a reason for the layoff? He has been a model employee! what do we do? I just had a baby and I need INFO!!! thank you all!

My ex- step mother is a Hamburger and coke short of a Happy meal. (seriously) So she was recently approved to received about $442.00 a month in Disability Benefits. (not ssi because she did work for about 8 years)
I looked it up on the SSA.gov website and my bro does qualify to receive children benefits under her. She really needs the money cuz 442 just doesn't cut it.
But anyhow, she is so afraid that if she does apply my brother for the children benefits, they are gonna see her as greedy and look for ways to drop her benefits.
Also my dad and her divorced in 2000.
In 1980 my dad was helping my grandpa log when a log fell off the truck and smashed his body. He has been on SSI since. He is good to her still, paying her bills and allowing her to live on his land & such but she is also afraid that they will go after him for child support and she doesn't want that since he is only getting 600 a month in SSI.

Do you think that any of this is anything to worry about?

I was recently sued over something that wasn't my fault. i was served papers for a civil suit against me and I was no way at fault. there was an accident above my home and the plaintiff says my drainpipe caused ice to form? should i file a countersuit for having to go through this aggravation.if so how much$ should i sue for?> the department of highways already told the lady it was not my drain pipe that caused ice it was just cold weather but she paid a lawyer and filed a suit anyway. this person has sued many many people and gotten away with this stuff. what is the best thing for me to do?

I recently had lunch at a restaurant and got very sick for 2 days. I know it was from the lunch I ate because I wasn't sick that morning and hadn't eaten before that. If I had gone to the ER and tested positive for food poisoning, could I have sued the restaurant even though I suffered no permanent injury?

A newspaper reported incorrectly. They showed my name, age and address in the recent court cases in my county. I live in a small village of 12,000 people. Now all the people that read this believe i did this crime...and it was not me. it was someone else with a similar name, different age. it was somekind of sexual assault case. How could a newspaper get this so mixed up? I am imbarrassed, and humilated. My buddy is a police man, he found it online today and told me about it. Is this newspaper liable for damages such as: defamation of character, causing me humiliation and distress? This is a nightmare for me. I know I will contact a lawyer tommorrow. I am so upset, i was hoping someone out here had some ideas. My name is ruined now over this...i already had 2 freinds email me today and ask what did i do! these are my best freinds since kindergarten...can you imagine what everyone else is thinking?

Ok I live with my inlaws and we pay them $200 a month, Thats $50 a week, But since December has 5 weeks in it we chose not to give them the extra $50. That would be $250 and it is not worth the $200. So now I was looking for paper to write on and I came acoss a paper from them to us saying we have 30 days to move out or we will be served court papers in a week. This is just something they wrote them selves. They do not know I have it. I am pregnant and they are trying to throw us out. Can they do this? They do not have papers saying we need to pay rent. Can someone please help me who knows what they are talking about?? Also the money is for room AND board, Which I though board was food, which we buy our own. Which there saying we take from them and do not share. PLEASE help.
