Hello. My neighbor and I used to be friends. For a time she gave me a key to her place. I later left it at her place and no longer have it. She and I had an exchange of notes where she asked me to return a book to her. A few days later I left the book in front of her door as she asked.

Now, a couple of weeks later I have a cop knocking on my door. He said that she said that she found the book inside of her apartment - implying that I somehow got in (via a key) and put the book inside. He said that I could possibly be arrested for breaking and entering. Apparently there might be other evidence. It is impossible for there to be physical evidence of me entering (since I did not). Though they may construct means (they assume I copied the key) and motive - since I guess they could assume that I wanted to be mean and cause her distress...
So does she have a case? What is needed to prove breaking and entering? Thank you in advance for answers/suggestions you may have.

It was my first job out of college, so when something didn't feel right, I thought it was just me, however, I have recently found out that this company not only scams their employees out of their paychecks, but they scam customers. They're called Cambridge/ Empire/ and Manchester Who's Who, and they change their name and location often. When I worked there, they were based in a nice office building in Uniondale, (Long Island) NY. I recently heard the people in management positions don't even use their real names. The business claims to be a well-known and respected networking tool for business professionals. They have already been reported to the Better Business Bureau, and the complaints are staggering. Check them out:

My husband is currently going about getting a petition to take his daughters mother to court for visitation bc she has recently begun refusing to allow him to see or speak to his daughter, but is there any way we can have some government agency intervene in the meantime? Not only are we afraid that she is telling is daughter things (what if she doesn't want to go with him in the end?), she had luekemia and has no way of knowing how her health is. What can we do until we get to court?

I have full custody over my son. My ex "sees" him everyother weekend. It took him 2 years to get a job and now that he has one he has made one child support payment. He now wants to sign over our son to my husband to be when we get married. We all agreed to this. My fiancee and I are scheduled to get married Jan. 29th of this year. I'm just curious as to what is going to happen next? What do I have to do to get this started? I dont know anything about adoption or signing a child over. I know I need to get a laywer and what not, I just want to know what to expect so I'm not shocked at anything. Any information you have would be much appreciated. If it helps I live in the state of Ohio.

I wrote a piece of literature and gave it to someone online for feedback. I gave it to her because she is also writer and doesn't know me personally (therefore she won't just "try to be nice".) She hasn't responded for weeks.
The literature is not published, however it IS copyrighted and registered with the Library of Congress. The person who has it knows that, but I'm still not sure. Am I just being paranoid? I just want to be prepared in case someone tries to steal my work.

My husbands EX-wife bought a motorcycle while he was on a deployment. The bike is financed and the bills are in her name. He was left with the bill in the divorce decree. This bike is not in his name and he did not co-sign for it.
We decided to not pay it and call the company to have them repoe it which will affect her credit. Her last car was repoed because she wouldnt pay the bills, and he was a co-signer (which affected him).
Will anything happen to us if we stop paying and allow the company to repoe it? Can his EX-wife do anything to us? It's all in her name and she has control over the vehicle, we dont, we just pay the bills.
**Don't mention children, there arent any. He has absolutely no acces to this bike or finance account. The dealership and finance company will not give him any info (the remaining balance due), or invoices in the mail, and he is not allowed to refiance it. Don't ask why, he is just not allowed. **

The only childrens vitamins that don't contain artificial sweeteners have hydrogenated vegetable fat in them!
