I would like some information on how to legally end a partnership. I don't have a buyer but I would like to be out of the partnership. Is my partner legally bound to buy my part or am I "screwed" if I don't want to be in the partnership anymore?

Thanks

I stayed at a vacation home in Florida. The property management company refuses now to refund my deposit of $300. I want to sue them. I am in Utah and they are in Tampa Florida. Do I have to go through Utah small claims court or through Florida?
Does anyone have any advise?

Should it?

It has been proven that it is not a gateway drug, it has never killed anyone and it doesn't cause any physical harm, nor any mental disorders.

It is not physically addicting like alcohol or caffeine, and it doesn't impair your judgment or hinder your ability to drive.

Why is it still illegal in the US?

Please bear with me on this one as I want to include all the information. My best friend has been dating this guy for about a year. She has off and on problema with her vehicle. So her boyfriend stated he would purchase a car for her (in his name) and make the payments for a year until she got established financially. Well being the non-trusting person I am, I told her not to accept it. She took the car anyway. She traded in her old car towards the new car. They recently got in a fight and broke up. Now he is telling her she has to pay the note or he will call the cops and say it is stolen. Does she have any legal recourse over the verbal agreement?

i had a dept with a company then i recived a letter from a dept collections company asking for payment, i didnt recive any corespondence from the company i owed the money to telling me it had been referd to a dept collections company. IS THIS LEGAL? the company i awed the money to still gave me the option to pay off what i owed them with no mention of a referal to any dept coloection company, so i paid what i qwed direct to the company i owed it to. now the dept colection company is telling me i owe them £10 in administration charges CAN TEY DO THIS? shorly if it had been referd to this dept collection company the company i originaly owed the money to should have withdrawn all meens of paying them direct, and informed me that any money owing was to be paid to the colloection company and not them. wher do i stand on this. will i end up paying the dept collection company ther £10 admin fee or is it between the company i owed and the dept collection company to sort out among themselves

Don't worry, I'm not gonna actually do it, I was just wondering what the penalty would be if someone actually did.

Little Ashley was born with severe brain damage and is unable to sit up, roll over, hold a toy, walk or talk. She can not maintain eye contact, is easily startled, but she’s alert and can smile.

Ashley’s parents feel they can better care for little Ashley if she remains at a manageable size. They often refer to Ashley has their “pillow child.” The parents feel if Ashley remains at her current weight of 65lbs instead of reaching her adult weight of 115lbs, it would be much easier for them to include her in typical family activities, car trips, feeding, bathing and simply caring for her. It will also reduce the chances of her developing bedsores, and other diseases that is usually associated with bed-ridden patients. Also she will not have to experience the discomfort of pending womanhood such as her menstrual or worry about developing breast cancer.

I stumbled across a website yesterday that appeared to be giving hair products away for free, with only the delivery charges to pay.
I thought it was too good to be true, but wondered if they were perhaps using up the end of a product line or something, so decided to order some to see what would would happen.
So I ordered loads, and made payment for the delivery charges using my debit card.
Today I have recieved e-mails cancelling my order as there was a mistake on the website, and refunding the delivery charges.
I just wondered if they are under any obligation to honour the purchase at the stated price, since payment was accepted. Does anyone know?

She refuses to work, wont got o school, just travels around like she is something special because he is a VERY high level in the military and she thinks that makes her something special. ANY information would be helpful. Thanks.

I have a personal injury lawsuit going on in regards to a vehicle accident. The company that hit into my vehicle is paying for all of the vehicle repairs and the rental car. Within a few conversations, the company's claims adjuster told me he was sick and tired of dealing with me, that my claim was the most asinine case he had ever dealt with and also that it was nothing but a pain in his *** and he couldn't wait for it to be all over with. Not to mention how rude and ignorant he was to me during this enitre time...

Would this be considered defamation of character? I have a call into my attorney but am eagerly awaiting an answer.
