Yes, I have a misdermeanor on my record and I have a great job. I think its felonies you have to worry about.

Well this will depend on what kind of job you are trying to get and if they do a background check . If this happend along time ago you can go down to the court and try to get it esponged off your record . If you are applying for a job be honest and put it on your application .

It's difficult getting a job with a misdemeanor on your record, however, go out there and fill out apps. That's all you can do is try! Good luck

Generally you can, if it's a job that requires being bonded or a security postion there might be problems.

It depends also on the misdemeanor and the employer as well.

Definitely. Actually, depending on the job your applying for. Can't pay your bills without a job. There would be alot of people on the streets (including me).

Yes, I have a misdeameanor on my record. As long as you disclose it when/if asked. If you do not disclose, and they find out by doing a background check - they can terminate you for falsifying your application. Not to worry.

It depends on the misdemeanor...if its theft, drug use/posession, or battery, probably not. Its worth a shot though right?
