My husband is currently going about getting a petition to take his daughters mother to court for visitation bc she has recently begun refusing to allow him to see or speak to his daughter, but is there any way we can have some government agency intervene in the meantime? Not only are we afraid that she is telling is daughter things (what if she doesn't want to go with him in the end?), she had luekemia and has no way of knowing how her health is. What can we do until we get to court?

i don't thinks shes being abused or neglected severely, but would it be mean to report it anyway? She does live in the house with a guy and the guys brother.
