jesus may not like it, but he would be ok with it if you needed to burn it to make a fire because you were cold and you would die if you didn't burn it

There is no Federal Law against burning a Bible in the United States. It's just a book (no offense intended). Burn, baby, burn.

No, but your action will represent more than just burning a book. Because the Bible has been considered one of the most powerful books in history and people, especiall christian and catholics, would think that you're against their religion and that would create chaos and put religious intolerance talk up in the media. You'll get alot of flak for that.

There is no law in the US against burning a bible, just like there is no law against burning a Koran. But of the two which one is most likely to get you killed, protested against, threatened, called a racist, threatened with hate crime persecution if you burn it?
Come on you know the answer

100% legal. It is also legal to burn any sacred texts, reguardless of the religion. The religion might consider it a sin, but in the United States of America, it is your right to do so.
Now arson and illegal burning ordinances still are in effect. So don't set fire to somebody else's Bible and don't burn anything but that is not yours to burn.

It's not illegal to burn books. Just look at Evangelists who burn piles of Harry Potter books.

Never heard of one. I think it would be considered a violation of your right to free speech. The act of burning has been considered "speech" by the Supreme Court in other cases.

Whoever on here who says it's illegal to burn a bible is truly an idiot and needs to go back to grade school. I understand that some would find it offensive, but it is NOT illegal. Geez people, sometimes you truly scare me with your ignorance.
