I think it is morally wrong to deny someone of marriage. How is it legal to discriminate. The only reasons i have got for the ban are religious ones that are unconstitutional. And that well what if two friends get married to get tax deductions. Which is like saying we we better not open stores cause people might steal

In florida and california they are puting off all executions for the time being because they might be cruel and unusual punishments. But when these people who are on death row were stabbing, shooting, raping, molesting, and torturing their victims, no one dares say that that is cruel and unusual. Regardless of whether lethal injection is unconstitutional, these people still committed horrible crimes and ought to pay the price!

My company rented a local dance hall for a christmas party until 2 am. At 1:30, one of the guys starts mopping the floor without putting up signs or anything (it was also quite dark in there) and without knowing he had mopped where I was walking, I slipped and broke my hand. I don't really want to take this to court, but this surgery is costing me about $2500 cause a guy didn't put a sign up... Is this grounds for compensation?

This decision follows an execution in Florida in which the condemned man took 34 minutes to die.
Now Florida wants to examine whether or not the chemicals they are using constitute "cruel and unusual punishment."

(b)Should the person that incorrectly placed the needle into the prisoners arm be charged with a crime? lose his/her job?

(c)Should lethal injection be banned?

(d) any other pain-free alternatives you can think of?

My friend is a very good man, but has a horrible time dealing with his emotions (anger, above all). A guy made him very angry talking badly about his mother and he broke his jaw. My friend was charged with assault and put on probation. His wife then left him and now trying to take full custody of his child. In a nutshell, my friend is charged with assault and about to be violated on 12/22/2006 and need to contend with child support payments, paternity rights, and child custody. He's a very loving father and would do anything for his child. He has no money, and is literally busting his butt trying to make due with $3,600 probation cost due and $1,200 child support payments. I was thinking about purchasing him prepaid legal plan. But, I don't know what to do to help my friend. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance as I greatly appreciate your advice on this imperative matter.

Me and my friend have someone we particularly hate....we plan to go roll their house over the Christmas break from school. All we would do is put toilet paper in their trees/bushes/cars, spread some shaving cream around on windows and stuff, spray silly string, things like that. No egging, haming, or somethgin that could actually ruin something.
If we happen to get caught and the cops are called, what could they actually do. I think the worst they could do is take us home, tell our parents, give us a "stern talking to", and/or make us clean it up. Could we be arrested or fined. Could they do anything if the person thinks it was us but has no solid proof?

In my opinion with this decision Arjun Singh has lost his right to move around without security, coz if he does Rang De Basanti act will surely be repeated on this political manipulator and unthinking dog.

Florida and California both think inmates condemend to death should be given a quick fast death. Why is this? They did not give the people they hurt the option for an easy way out. Why should we give them one?

I'm running straight headers on my bike and when I accelerate it sounds like I'm going alot faster than I really am. Coming off of a stop light, I was pulled over and ticketed for reckless driving and was told to go to court . . . on my way home, I realized that he didn't give me my license back. I called the PD and was informed that they hold the license until I go to court. It seems like they wouldn't be able to punish me before I go to court. Double Jeopordy?

My friend was in an accident the other day and he only has liability insurance and he wants to sue the person that hit him. What happened was that he was driving and a car was about to get over to get off the bridge but I guess it was the wrong exit so he swerved back over and caused a 4 car accident. Who can be held liable, if anybody?

Give it some serious thought. People say, let them suffer in jail. I feel they get used to prison, and actually start to like it, free meals, exercise, I assume TV, library, etc.. Yet everyone fears definite death. I put before you the example of a recent MA convicted state trooper who yelled to the family of his victim, in so many words, "I am better off than Ricky!!!'. Seriously consider the way these people murder, burning to death, mutilation, torture rape, the forced drowning of children. Give this some serious thought, and try to take your religion out of it.
