Me and my friend have someone we particularly hate....we plan to go roll their house over the Christmas break from school. All we would do is put toilet paper in their trees/bushes/cars, spread some shaving cream around on windows and stuff, spray silly string, things like that. No egging, haming, or somethgin that could actually ruin something.
If we happen to get caught and the cops are called, what could they actually do. I think the worst they could do is take us home, tell our parents, give us a "stern talking to", and/or make us clean it up. Could we be arrested or fined. Could they do anything if the person thinks it was us but has no solid proof?

It is not a friend, it is a person who I have a very bad history with and who hates me just as much. They did the same thing to me to a level, so I plan to get some help and take it to the next level.
Anyway, that's my business and not yours, I just wanted a aimple answer to this question, not a remoark that "I'm just such a hateful person for doing something like that" or whatever your opinion is on the whole situation.....

You could be charged with vandalism or littering. While TPing someones house is not destructive, remember, you are trespassing on someone else's property.
I've done my share of these types of things myself, but you asked what could happen to you if you were caught so that is how I answered.
I once had someone soap my car windows as a joke at my best friends wedding. While I thought it was quite funny while I was using my snow scraper to get it off(they really used alot of soap)I didn't think it was funny on the 2 hour drive home when it started raining.Even innocent pranks can have consequences.

I believe you that the favor to modify the concepts, i.e., to flee from reality, is a difficulty-free human choose. i imagine it ought to nicely be a touch decrease on the list, even with the reality that, because people choose love and/or companionship before they choose different issues. I also agree that the taxation project, fantastically at the same time as it contains marijuana, is significant. If all people ought to easily boost it of their lower back backyard, the authorities does no longer get its decrease like it does with tobacco and alcohol. The pharmaceutical market has adequate drugs to positioned the entire u . s . into l. a.-l. a. land and then some, yet they federally regulated, are worthwhile, and pay taxes. Heroin and cocaine are extra not basic because of their addictive houses and ability deadly nature. If all and dissimilar ought to legally purchase those drugs, cheaply, there will be an excellent spike (no pun meant) in overdoses, so in this regard i believe the authorities, or a minimum of your regularly occurring voter, is in contact about the wellbeing effects and in no way a lot about the lost taxes.

Absolutly it is illegal and yes you can be fined, jailed for the night at least, do community service and I would hope be grounded for a really , really long time. This is not something that anyone should do, just because you don't like someone. What does this say about you and your friends? Then your parents are responsible and it may cost them court costs and Lawyer fees. You are loosers, users, abusers and just plain mean. What is wrong with you. This is the time for giving, charity, love, forgiving and good things. What you are thinking about doing is cruel and mean and is vandalism. It makes the whole neighborhood look bad and while you are doing this, someone may shoot you. What if that happens. Will it be funny to you. Or maybe a knife or maybe like the guys in NY who got shot, the cops drive by and do you in? Would that be fair? Just grow up and stop acting like juveniles. Shame Shame!!
OH POOR BABY< don't like the answers either? That's just too Bad. Can't tell us how to feel about you.

If you "hate" this person, just don't be around them. It's not a good idea and you should just drop it. It's a childish act and not to mention cowardly. You are going to look back on it years from now, when you grow, and realize it wasn't cool. It's Christmas! Be with your family and friends and enjoy your break from school. Your parents may not be too happy if they have to bail you out of jail. Think of how it could ruin your life if they press charges?

No, I don't suppose you'll get into much trouble this time. It sounds like it'll be a few years yet before you end up in jail for a serious crime. You are certainly headed that way, because you have no respect for others.

If you go through life believing you must avenge yourself for real or imagined wrongs, or that you have to 'get back' at someone who did something bad to you, then you will never be a useful or valuable member of society.

Shaving cream can harm the paint if it drips down off the windows. I would suggest finding something a little more worthwhile to do with your time and money!

wooo that sounds like fun.
but seriously if you get caught and the owners of the house press charges, you would most likely have to pay a fine. and court costs are a *****. if you rake your leaves and put them on the street, the fine is about $200 so imagine what TPing would do.
my advice
dont get caught.

Yes. you can. It is up to the people you attack in this way & the cop who answers the call. Most likely, you would have gotten away with it if you hadn't opened your yap here.

And there is no way I would want a hateful person as yourself as a friend.

Hope you're not in Texas. Criminal Mischief in the nighttime is just cause for the use of deadly force. Read your state's penal code before you do something stupid.
