Is it currently ilegal to use a mobile phone whilst sat in the driver's seat of a stationery vehicle(i.e not moving)but the key is in the ignition and the engine is running?with the handbrake on and the gear stick in neutral?)

If I am called an imbecile just because I am not muslim I would find that to be flattering.

ok so its froma a lottery place and it says i won like 250,000 or summin and ive looked all over the net at everything on the paper for traces of fraud but i cant find any but i was wondering what eould happen if i cashed the check and we later found out it was a scam btw the check is for 2,999 for insurance costs

well i am asking because i worked for the federal government supervisor kept a secret file on me besides the file i was allowed to look at. Isnt this inadmissable in court as it is against federal law to keep secret files on government workers without there knowledge. asking for wages i would make up to 30 yrs and retirement.

He is the father of my daughter but we arent together. We weren't even together at the time she was concieved. it is a long and painful story. but he has told me that he can get custody of her if he tries and i will never see her again. He is in the military and wasnt there at all while i was pregnant. He only saw her once when he was home for Thanksgiving. He doesnt call to ask about her or email or anything. His parents live about 2 miles from me and they never ask either. He says that since Military lawyers and Civilian lawyers are different.... he has a better chance of winning. What should I do? What are the odds she will be taken away? I dont drink. I dont do drugs. She always has enough to eat and all that. I dont hurt her. She is 3 months old. He barely knows her. I have a b/f that loves her like she were his own and he says he will help me raise her. I just need to know how likely it is he'll get her.
oh- he says he isnt threatening me to get her.... its a promise.

My brother in law was cited a few months ago for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, he thought his friend was 21. The kid turned out to be 20 and in possession of a stolen firearm. When questions came up about the weapon the kid said my brother in law had it. Unfortunately the weapon had been used to shoot up someone's tractor. Based on the say of this kid, the law has said my brotherin law will be charged for this crime. He says he never knew about any tractor shooting, when he was in the state they did go shooting at rabbits. He has several witnesses willing to testify that he was never near a tractor. But would that be sufficient enough?

I live in Texas and they get locked up for 1/2 of their sentence at least! Which to me isn't enough! I think the victims family should be allowed to seek the death penalty!

How long can someone defy a court order. My ex wife has defied a court order to refinance our house for 1 year. Does the court take any action on people who don't follow the judge's order? Can I file a petition to sell the house? My attorney is on vacation for 1 month, so I can't ask him now. Does anyone have any suggestions or knowledge on this.

As it is now, at least in the United States, if you go to the hospital, you end up with several bills by multiple entities. Not only is it annoying, but it is also confusing when you include health insurance involvement. It really gets out of hand if you have multiple visits. Hence, if legislation were introduced that would require hospitals to simplify their billing procedures by consolidating everything into just one bill, would you support it?

I have recently gone back to school to better my earning capacity to take care of my children. I have been told that because I am a convicted felon I will not be employable and therefore the imputed income is my job at a bagel shop. Can I not get a reduction in child support to finish school because of my criminal history?

The guy who took 34 minutes to die, or the electric chair etc, many say those who get the death penalty should be a completely painless death, is it forgotton that those people are murderers? What if they killed your mom or daughter, very very slowly and tortured to death. They are getting it for murder, why are people thinking they deserve a quick painless one? If anyone in your family was slowly tortured to death, would you want the murderer to get the easy way out?
