I live in Texas and they get locked up for 1/2 of their sentence at least! Which to me isn't enough! I think the victims family should be allowed to seek the death penalty!

They have to register here too. But they can lie about where they are really living. So many do. I think they should have to notify by mail every house within a distance of these creeps!

Believe it or not, certain parts of Asia, they will either kill you or give you life imprisonment. In most parts of Asia, 10 years minimum.
In the US, they should just put the child molesters in general population in the prison, so they would get their a** kicked everyday or killed, instead of putting them in PC (protective custody).

Only certain offenses get death, like types of murder. If a freak has just molested a child (not saying just in way to sound like it's not a big deal, because it is), they're going to get a prison sentence which they can usually talk down from a sex offense in order to avoid registration. If they have the sex offense, they serve their time and have to be on an offender registry and the town should be notified. Check out Megan's Law.

My state has adopted Jessica's Law. However, most child molesters in EVERY state are out in 2 to 4 years (and some less than ONE year). You can directly blame the overcrowding of prisons for this. If you want to change it, you must write a letter to your congresspeople and let them know you want it to stop. In order to get it to stop you must be willing to either divert tax money from something else in your state to the prison system, OR to pay higher taxes.

What should be done and what is done are two different things
1st offense is bad, but must give the benefit of any doubt
2nd offense should be automatic death penalty, take them out back and shoot them!

You can search sexual offenders by zipcode. I pulled up my zipcode and got about twenty names. Click on a name and you see a color photo, address, work address, and what their "preferences" are. Scary.

I agree. Here they serve their time and get to go home and live around kids..they should be killed.

They shouldn't be killed. Yes, they did something wrong, but it's not an offense that is punishable by death.
