Do you mean that they possibly suffer? Feel pain? Huh? wouldn't that be appropriate for an individual who has been sentenced to death because he or she has committed such a heinous crime that a jury of his or her peers had deemed it so.
Lets not mention the (most likely) reason that said individual is in fact on death row, a crime against another person or persons resulting in the death or deaths of the same usually done by some unspeakable method most of us only see about in Nightmares, You can also consider the amount of pain that was thrown upon the family and friends of the victim(s) in having to go thru a trial, and witness pictures and evidence and vivid descriptions of what happened to their loved ones.
So yea, I guess I can see your point, god forbid these saintly, I've found god now(surprise) individuals should have to tolerate any form of uncomfortable pain 10 or 15 years after they had committed their crimes.
P.S. What is the point of sterilizing the arm with alcohol before? wouldn't want an infection to set in.

Quite frankly that isn't the fault of the punishment of death by lethal injection. It is a technical error by the technician who inserted the needles. Also, any reasonable such tech OR anesthetist KNOWS that you pull back on the plunger of the syringe, pulling a bit of blood into it visibly, to be certain that you are setting the needle in a vein. That is knowledgeable human error, and quite possibly PURPOSEFUL. I have a problem with the incident and the anesthetist, but not with death by lethal injection.

Like any medical procedure, there is always the chance of human error. I still think it is the most humane way to carry out a death sentence.
I'm not commenting on whether the death penalty is right or wrong.

Capital punishment is wrong period. Not because they are botched, not because the executed might feel pain, but because it is simply immoral. Executing someone has no real lasting impact from the perspective of the killer, its lasting impact is on the psychology of the society that is left behind. To those who would argue that an executaions impact is 'satisfaction' I would say 'you are the problem'

If you want to die happily, don't commit crimes against humanity that can be punished through lethal injection. I stop caring about the feeling of vicious criminals the second they decide that they need not care about us. I just wish we could all agree on a cheaper way to do it.

My thoughts? Execution by lethel injection should be abolished... unless the injection is a painful, slow acting poison or perhaps a strong acid. Otherwise, lets return to hanging, or beheading, or the firing squad.
Why do you bleeding heart liberals always cry for the convicted murderer, child molester, and rapist?

Fry them killers in the electric chair. I'm tired of endless appeals, and my tax dollars wasting away on a wasted, twisted psychopath whose parents didn't pay attention when he/she was torturing animals.

thats nothing compared to the torture or pain they inflicted on their victim, i think the electric chair is a better way to kill a torturer ( imagine having your leg cut of by a buzz saw by some psychopath, would you really feel satisfied knowing he died without any pain at all?)

You're right...hanging, firing squad, and the electric chair are far more reliable. Oh, wait, I forgot about the gas chamber.

A few minutes of minor suffering is much less than what they deserve. I don't believe he suffered at all and there is no proof that he did.
