When my father died I had a note that I owed him but later I declared bankruptcy and he was listed as a creditor and the amount included the note. When he died, the family felt I still owed him the money even though legally I didn't. I was in a pschiatric hospital for months during that time and they bullied me into signing papers that said I still owed the money and so I lost $27000 of my inheritance. That was a little over 5 years ago. Can I still contest that?

Ok, I was at a major retailer(Hint: it rhymes with j-mart) and I was basically stopped when I was leaving and accused of shoplifting and I was even handcuffed. I didn't even take anything and they apologized but it was really embarrassing and I'm saying that it's reasonable grounds for a lawsuit and he's saying it's totally within their rights to do that. could I win a lawsuit or settlement from that? Also, the same guy approached my friend and told him he should just slip a fishing lure in his pocket can they do that?

Is there something you can do if you order something off a website and they take money off your credit card but you never get the services you want? I didnt, and then I asked for a refund and got it. (supposedly) I have yet to recieve my refund and I have reciepts for both the buying and the credit given back. Its been almost a week now. This is the site.

I personally believe that nobody deserves to die for their crimes. Not Hitler, , not Stalin, not Bin Laden, nobody. I know this is a hotly debated topic, but I just wanted to see how many responses would come in for one side or the other, and if any new arguements would pop up. Oh, and if your going to say something retarded like "only for those terrorist loving liberals" or "only for Bush and his cronies" don't bother answering, nobody takes you seriously anyways.

if a crime is committed, wouldyou rather take whipping on the back, no shirt, or be sent to spend time in jail? i want your thoughts, comments, if you agree with it, how many lashes would be appropriate, how you think the punishment would go, where should the guy or girl be hit, what kind of whip, attire when whipped, etc, etc. ALOT of details will get you the best answer. thanks

Ok this is just an opion question,I think IT SHOULD,because everytime their is freedom of speech about religions,its devistaiting,like someone on a certain site recorded a video (south park ep) That showed profit mohammed...(OMFG?!?!?!)Im muslim,I waas completely outraged at the video.They offended my religion...I mean wtf!?! Loads of people demanded he should remove it! The only reply he DIDENT use racial slur about the islamic religion was "It impowers freedom of speech." You call that freedom of speech? She is obviously disturbed and has legal/criminal problems. I found and saved via screen capture her posts of my phone number and address asking for sex. Who can I contact or report this to in that she has been stalking me for some months. She also has posted a lot of information that leads me to believe she has a substance abuse problem and from those who know her, she is pregnant and drinking heavily, along with abusing her other children. I think she lives in Hawthorne and is a welfare fraud case, since she is married but reports herself as single and unemployed. She sits in chat all day posting my information so I cant see how she is taking care of her kids. I really think she needs to have law enforcement pay her a visit. Any suggestions on who I may report her to?

We live in Illinois. We have kept a journal of all the things the ex has done to the daughters. We need to know how to "prove" he is being mentally abusive to the girls. One of the girls is 6 and is just now starting to talk to others (police, lawyers ect.) about what goes on but I really don't think she will talk in a court room if her dad is also there. The other girl is 4 & I know she won't talk to anyone she doesn't know or is in a room full of people. This man has lied in court before and we know he will do it again. We have got to find a way to protect the girls from anymore of his mind games. We would like to have supervised visitation only, at least until the dad gets some help. Is this a realistic solution? If so how do we do it? Thank you for any answers, we are appeciative of your time and help.

supposed to be on it for one year. It was revoked last year and I finished my sentence and paid my fines. Now,I'm trying to get into an apartment and the rules are that you cannot have a misdemeanor conviction in the last 3 years. So,is the revocation a new conviction?

In may of 05 I was going through a difficult period in my life. As a result of bad choices I got a dui in missouri (where I am a permanant resident) while holding an illinios DL. It was a first time offense and I was barely over the legal limit. (.095) After court and fines and lawyers and substance abuse trafiic school-$2500 later and nearly 2 years I was reinstated in mo in oct 06. Only to find illinios has a hold on my licence. They require a $500 reinstatement fee, and they sent me a packet requiring me to submit to them info it took alot of time and money to gather for mo. Further, when I sent for this packet I sent IL all the information it took to get reinstaded in mo. If I do this it will cost another 250$ for a re-assesment fee, plus a reinstatement fee of $500. All to a state where I did not commit a crime. I used their licence to give the mo cop because it was my only valid licence. That is a very thin stance to keep on affecting someones life the way this has mine.

When I was a child I was very aware of the sexual activities of my friends of the same age. Many of them began experimenting as early as 6 yrs, I was too shy. The "lord of the flies" book shows boys fighting all the time, but I know from the experiences of my childhood that if boys were on an island unsupervised there would a lot of sexual play. I have heard that even if the actors are 18 they cannot protray younger boys in the nude, is that true?
