I was wondering if there is a minimum age limit to carry a taser gun?

I live in the State of Washington

I know for a fact that you do not need a concealed weapons permit in the state of Washington.

And it is not considered a firarm.

And yes, taser guns are available to civillians.

The first models cost about $300, while the new ones cost about a thousand dollars.

I would think it's illegal for any civilian to carry one. But I don't know the laws for tasers. The best advice I could give is to check with the local authorities.

I would be extremely careful about this subject. Although both are used by the general public (with no criminal record), the goal of using them is to make the person(s) feel DISORIENTED. Do not abuse either one. Although a Taser might be a good idea to carry, do not continually shock the person(s) in question until they stop getting up. One shot should suffice and make the person go away. If it doesn't help, call 911. As for pepper spray, it's legal in most states, but many of them have restrictions on who can carry them and there are penalties for mis-using pepper spray (for example, there's a possibility of a 3-year-prison sentence and/or fines of up to $1000 for mis-using the spray and disregarding the maximum amount of ounces spray that one person may carry). For the safety of everyone, check your state's laws on Tasers and pepper spray. Also, you can check with your city and surrounding areas. Stay safe folks. :)

According to their website, the TASER is legal in 43 states...but, didn´t list them.

Check with your local State Attorney General´s Office to make sure.
