No. I work in the ATM dept of a bank. This does not work. There are no plans in the works at this time to make this a function of ATM machines. Putting your pin number in backwards will only count as a bad pin try on your account. Too many of those and your card will be captured by the machine.

No this is an urban myth and a popular Yahoo question.

Three things happen if you do this:

1. You get no money out
2. After 3 trys you loose your card
3. the robbers will kick your head in

If that were true then the police would know what your PIN number is. Sence they were summoned there because someone typed in a number backward -- all they have to do is reverse it.
