Can a credit card company bring a complaint against you, even though they had sent you letters stating that the balance on your credit card had been charged off? And a civil action is being brought up even after this? What will they do, or does anyone know?

Critics of iner racial adoption argue that it's impossible for someone of one culture to teach another culture because you have to live it in order to absorb it. The proponants of argue that children are hurt most by being left in the system to wait where the chances plummet that they will ever get adopted the older they get. A disproportionate number of adults who grow up in care are incarcerated, unemployed, do not finished high school and receive public assistance.

I personally think that somethin I read sums it up: When people say 'love is all it takes', they seem to overlook the impact race has on our society. Somehow when it's a case of adoption, race suddenly doesn't seem to matter anymore.

First I want to make something perfecly clear: this is NOT a "political" question. I simply want to know on what LEGAL grounds (if any) could President Bush be impeached? I am not interested in answers like "because he's bad" or " you must be a liberal" - I really want to know: on what LEGAL grounds could G.W. Bush be impeached? If answer is "none" please be specific in your details. Best answer = 10 pts, as usual. Thanks to all who will post INTELLIGENT answers.

claim to have suffered 'psychological trauma' due to workplace bullying? Workplace bullying awards take in to account future loss of earnings but they do not take in to account: 1) that the person may get another high earning job 2) that earnings are for WORK done- not for what you might have done had you continued to work there.it is always people in their 30s and above who sue. People younger than that tend to say 'ce sera sera'- imagine if everyone who was bullied at school sued the school. Yet that's what some poeple earn MASSIVE payments (often in 10s of thousands , sometimes even in the millions) for at work. Who is really going to suffer lasting psychological effect? The older adult who should be able to put things in perspective or the child whose personality is still forming?

I received a US census questionnaire and do not want to fill it out because of all the personal information they want to know about you and your family. I believe it's my right to not have to give this information to a 3rd party. It's both a pain and time consuming. What happens if you refuse to fill it out? Thanks!

I'm a waitress and the boss just implemented a new rule saying that if you lost a credit card slip or have one that is unsigned you have to pay the amount that it was.I believe that this is like paying for the same meal twice and I don't know where that money is going. This has forced servers to sign any unsigned slips they have had throughout the day.Is the employer legally able to do this?
