I am the plaintiff in a case in which attorney fees can be awarded. I am pro-se in the matter however, so would this still count? Can I be awarded the attorney fees? I worked just as hard, and had to file all the paperwork, fair is fair.

Thanks!

As the plaintiff, you may collect only damages, punitive damages, and costs as awarded by the court. Attorney fees would not be awarded in a successful pro se case.

Make sure you have documented paperwork and/or reciepts showing the money you have had to pay in order to put your case together including your court costs and see what the judge awards.

Good luck I could NEVER do pro se but then again I have a family member who works at a law firm so I wouldn't have to anyway.

No, but you may collect any expenses incurred in the filings, and making copies, etc; Just make sure that you have your receipts in order.
