I can get what I need from Tarrant County (county only) probate browse.

But I am not sure that a will Im hoping to see will be done there or elsewhere in Texas.

Is there a statewide probate search for Texas?

Probate should be done in the county where the deceased lived. Call the probate court in that county, and ask them if they have a file for that person, and ask how much money you would need to send to get a copy of the entire file.

If they don't have the file, you'll just need to call other county probate courts. If you know that the deceased owned land in any other county, you could try calling those counties.
