My15-year-old daughter had to go live with her father last year because I couldn't care for her anymore. She is disrespectful, mean, hateful, and I firmly believe she needs serious medical attention.

Her father always thought I was BSing about how bad it was but now, after a year, he wants to send her back. She assaulted him and he called the police on her. She is living with their church priest until we figure something out.

She cannot come back to live with me. I have 2 other kids and I can't have the turmoil that she brings. How can I have her placed in foster care or terminate my parental rights and have her permantely taken away.

Please, don't tell me that she needs help and love... I have been dealing with this for years and I can't do it anymore. Unless you've lived one day in my shoes you can't comment on how best to help her. She needs help I can't give her.

I saw that the International Criminal court currently has about 103 states as members, does that mean that any leaders or members of state (country) that are not part of it cannot be tried there?

In Michigan, that is a part of a new law by conservatives.

House Bill 5882 makes it a crime for a man, whether he is the possible father or not, to 'change or attempt to change an existing housing or cohabitation arrangement' with a pregnant significant other, to 'file or attempt to file for a divorce' from his pregnant wife or to 'withdraw or attempt to withdraw financial support' from a woman whom he has been supporting -- if it is determined that the man is doing these things to try to pressure the woman to terminate her pregnancy.

i work at a bar in chicago. there is at will employment, which i gather means they can hire and fire at will. i have worked at this facility for 3.5years. i have given excellent service and there is written and verbal documentation.

recently they fired and hired new management. there is talk of firing and hiring new, young, hot bartenders. the firing has not begun, but the hiring has.

the new manager has told me many times in front of other employees that i am old. i'm also overweight~ which he has not commented on, but he has a thing for hot girls (as most men do) and he goes to bars with these girls until 5am almost every night.

in combination with him saying he wants "young, hot" girls to work their to bring in business i assume i am also on my way out.

is this age discrimination? is there anything i can do?

I got a ticket on saturday night while parking my vehicle with the motor running. I was in the driver seat with my seat belt on and my keys in my hand, and I was asleep. Then an officer knock on my window and woked me up . He made me take the soberity test four times after blowing .12 on the first time. Finally he stayed with the last result of .18. I got arrested and taken to jail overnight.
I explained to the officer that my friends drove my vehicle to the location where my husband was supposed to meet me to drive my vehicle home. I also explained to the officer that I was not driving and that my vehicle was running because it was cold and I used my remote starter to start the vehicle and the keys still in my pocket. The officer told me that I had the intent to drive, that's why he wrote me the ticket .

Okay, so a person at work has gone rogue. He opened up a business, and stole my bosses accounts. Now my boss is sueing him of course, and the ex-employee is counter sueing. I heard he wants to subpoena me. I have nothing to do with what is going on, I just work for my boss and do my job. How can I get out of this subpoena, and would a doctor's note help any?
Thank you!

I placed an offer on a home in Arkansas a few weeks ago and today was offered a job in another state. The home loan has not been processed or finalized. The only thing I have signed is an offer and it was accepted by the homeowner. Other than losing my earnest money, which I expect....how obligated am I to this contract.

to me all the pro-choice arguments are weak. ill state the pro-choice theory then my argument against it...

"its just a zygote, no more then cancer cells, not a human":
well actually its a human zygote. there are 46 chromosomes that make us human and the second the sperm and egg are combined the 'zygote' has those exact 46 chromes that make us human.

“It’s the womans’ body, not the governments”:
well if you followed my above statement that the 46 chromosomes that makes that little bugger in your tummy a human, killing it not in self defense or fear of your life means you killed a human being for no reason which is murder. I do believe the gov’t gets a say in murder don’t they? (rhetorical question, don’t bother)

I am interested in seeing some specific paperwork that was given to me months ago by my landlord and cannot find it. I'm having quite a bit of difficulty with them on several different levels and would like to see the entire file and possibly make copies. Does anyone know if they are required to show me or can they legally not allow me to? I reside in VA. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer on this.
