i was caught shoplifting yesterday.
and i have to show up in court i kinda did confess to the undercover shopper in the store that i did steal.
if i confess in court what will happen to me?
any ideas guys? plz help me lol it was a stupid mistake

You knew enough not to open your wallet and leave money on the floor (which is stupid too)
You knew stealing is wrong and you got caught. Just confess, and hope for the best. AND DON"T TAKE STUFF THAT ISN'T YOURS!

Dont' admit to nothing! You only confessed because he was coercing you and you were scared of the consequences of what would happen if you didn't confess!
Hire a criminal attorney or this could really mess up your life.

Obviously this is your first time facing consequences for stealing. Just admit you did it. You'll walk away with just a slap on the hand. But don't be stupid and go out and make the same choices.

The only thing i can say is . just go on and confess, if you did it maybe the judge will give you community service or a petty fine

There is not much you can do other than pleading guilty. You will probably have to pay a fine and maybe do community service.
